I picked up the Derek Lam 10 Crosby Fragrance Collection Gift Set along with four of the large size fragrances a few weeks ago. I really wanted to try all of these not only because I love all over Derek Lam but also because they were so hyped up (plus many of them smelled amazing! Silent Night is divine!).
That set is $95 and larger sizes of Derek’s fragrances range in price from $95 to $175 each so sadly, things aren’t cheap on the 10 Crosby front.
But I’m here to tell you that you can TRY ALL the Derek Lam 10 Crosby Fragrances for much, much less!
Sephora continues to get me excited about trying fragrances lately courtesy their fragrance samples sets. Let’s see, the Commodity Sampler Set was awesome, the Tocca Girls Set was divine, and the Juliette has a Gun Set was smoking, and the Aerin Library introduced me to new signature scents!! Thank you Sephora for making it so easy to try every single scent in a brand’s catalog without spending a ton of cash!
This new set from Derek Lam scales down the price and size of the samples with 10 samples that are 0.067 oz each and will set you back $30. This is a great way to try all of the fragrances in this collection without splurging on a $175 bottle. As someone who owns four of them I’d highly suggest a try before you buy set like this because as unique and refreshing as Derek’s fragrances are they might not warrant a full size since I find the linger and throw is a bit weak.
