Bath & Body Works You Make It Hard To Quit You
Just when I think I’m done with Bath & Body Works they introduce scents like Sweet Tropical Vanilla to draw me back in. Damn you, Bath & Body Works! Insert mental image of me shaking my fist dramatically here.
For one thing, Bath & Body Works Fragrance Mists just never last on me and secondly, the worst offense of all in my opinion, many of the scents aren’t unique enough to really warrant a purchase. Let’s face it, they are begin smelling the same after a while. Not to say Bath & Body Works doesn’t surprise us sometimes because look at how great Beach Nights was right?
I have high hopes Bath & Body Works Sweet Tropical Vanilla will be just as wonderful!
I hear vanilla and I go crazy. This one sounds quite lovely but I don’t trust Bath & Body Works at times as the way they envision tropical vanilla probably isn’t the same way I do. I’m thinking creamy, warm vanilla poured over coconuts, passion fruit, and pineapples. Likely, Bath & Body Works is thinking a bunch of floral, fruity notes and a splash of vanilla you can’t quite smell.
But I’ll give it a try! This one has an opening of tangerine and tropical vanilla with a heart of Dulce de Leche and Tiare Flower with dry down notes of Vanilla Cake, Sugared Woods, and Fluffy Musk. I really think Bath & Body Works main problem is the fact their dry down notes are so much different from what the name implies and the top notes are so fleetingly beautiful and what we really wish the fragrance would smell like!
I’m eager to try out Tropical Vanilla to see if it lives up to the name.
Have you smelled it yet?

Bath & Body Works Tropical Vanilla is available on their site and should be launching soon in stores!
