Sephora Lip Balm & Scrub for Spring 2017

sephora-lip-balm-scrub

It’s Winter and I have a cold and my lips are hoping to be saved by Sephora Lip Balm & Scrub ($6) because they are dry, flaky, and just gross. Am I like the only person in the world that gets thee worst case of dry, cracked lips when I have a cold? Seriously, alligator skin is probably softer than my lips right now. At one point they were bleeding. Yeah, so not pretty.

Sephora Lip Balm & Scrub take up a little note from Milani’s Moisture Lock Oil Infused Lip Treatment with six different lip balms formulated with different ingredients for different lip issues. Granted, these aren’t a lip oil but Milani’s formula was along the same lines with a variety of formulas and essential oils to treat different issues.

Coconut soothes, Rose adds shine, Goji protects, Tangerine tones, and Almond moisturizers. Honey is available as a lip scrub formula!

Sephora Lip Balm & Scrub is available now at Sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Muse, if you look closely at the wrappers, the Honey one is identified as a lip scrub. The others are listed as balms. So I think the scrub only comes in one tube, the Honey one.

  • Kris

Only the Honey version is considered a lip scrub. The rest of the flavors are all balms.

    I. WANT. THEM. ALL.

    NAO.

kthnxbai…… 🙂 If these are worth a hoot, Imma have them all – wonder if they have the flavor of the tube – only says scent… Still, for $6 a crack, I have to at least try ’em!!

I noticed that the old Sephora lip balm has been in the sale section on the website — maybe they’re phasing it out for these? I love the packaging so may pick one up — maybe rose? I wish the scrub wasn’t in a stick form, though. That’s not really appealing to me. Would love an affordable lip scrub from Sephora (in a pot form).

Very, very cute! And no of course you are not the only one! Winter lips are the worst. I hope you feel better soon!

I’m curious about how the rose one compares to the Fresh Sugar Rose Extreme, I think its discontinued but it was my favorite, it actually smelled delightfully of roses.

When I get nervous or anxious I bite my lips and it will get to the point of bleeding. I think I’m like you, I have about 200 lip balms. Seriously we must STOP the madness. My only gripe, please don’t put them in pots, put it in a stick. I’m looking at you, Rosebud Salve. 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

ha agreed! DAMN pots 😀 I don’t mind when I’m home but when I’m traveling pots suck!

      • Sarah

Yes in deed. It’s gross. You have to sanitize your hands before and after. Too much work. I know the Rosebud Salve comes in a tube, but there is something different about it. Maybe just my screwy brain?

As to this post, I will check these lip balms out at Sephora when I head over there. They look interesting, but, maybe I will just stick to my tried and true Rosebud.

        • Isabella Muse

Not not screwy at all, it’s actually a little lighter and less thick compared to the one in a pot! I can’t blame you, I’m a massive Rosebud fan girl too 😀

I can’t wait to pick up these and my birthday gift later this month! Thanks for the heads up!

A few of these look very tempting. I wonder if the Goji gives any color payoff? And a scrub in stick form? I may have to try that one. Or three.
