Kopari Coconut Lip Love Review

Kopari Coconut Lip Love ($10) is my lip balm or lip treatment if you will of choice this week! I’m sick and I’m a big baby about it. I hate being sick! I could whine all day about it but needless to say my skin is suffering especially my lips which are dry, cracked, and feel like I ate a ball of cotton.

I picked up the Kopari Coconut Face The Day & Night Kit earlier this month and it contains a full-size Coconut Lip Love! Yay! Since my lips are all kinds of dry and cracked this was a good time to use it.

Here are some thoughts!

Kopari Coconut Lip Love gets a big yay from me. This 0.35 oz lip balm comes housed in a squeeze tube with a slanted applicator. They load it up with coconut oil and shea butter but it isn’t a thick texture in the least which I loved! Earlier this month, I tried out Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Shea Butter Lip Balm and I was a little disappointed how very thick it was. This is more of a lipgloss formula and I was quite pleased with that has it leaves my lips hydrated but also with plenty of shine.

Don’t me wrong, I like thicker formulas especially when I want to treat my lips to something mega hydrating while I’m sitting around watching TV. Or even go to as a nighttime treatment although things can get messy when you sleep in lip balm! None the less, I have nothing against thicker lip balms and yes, I even like them.

But when you’re sitting at your desk and you’re about to see clients. Well, I don’t you want to smear a thick lip treatment on your lips. That’s why I liked the lightweight, super shiny, yet hydrating texture of Coconut Lip Love. This felt soothing on my dry and it offered lightweight moisture without being sticky or tacky. The formula is running but it doesn’t migrate at all and it wears well over lipstick or lip stain should like you a little moisture on top of your favorite lip products. It does have a very light and natural coconut flavor and fragrance but nothing that will be a buzzkill for sensitive users.

I liked this one a lot and I’d definitely repurchase it!

Kopari Coconut Lip Love is available now at Sephora.com.

I’ll have to try this one. Sorry that you are having flaky lips as well as a bad cold. I take it the green tea bag hack didn’t work 🙁 I’ve also switched to Tom’s toothpaste, and never use any lip product with mint. It has really been helping me a lot.

I haven’t tried yet Jes! 😀 My lips are a little raw to the point of bleeding so I’ve been keeping it minimal! But I def plan to try as soon as they heal up 😀 I’ve been avoiding mint too, it burns when my lips are this raw :-/

ugh it’s awful! Whenever I have a cold this always happens. I get a severe case of dry mouth which leads to dry cracked bleeding lips! xoxoxo thank you!

    Hi, Isabella

Thanks for the informative article about Kopari Coconut Lip Love. I am using Alba Botanica, this is also very good.
