Clinique’s New Lip Product Is Like Eyeshadow For Your Lips

If you’ve a long time beauty lover you’ve likely tried a lip powder at some point in your makeup life! Last year, Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate Lips took the high-end world by storm but this year the new Clinique Pop Lip Shadow Cushion Matte Lip Powder ($19.50) allows you to embrace the trend at a far cheaper price tag.

These come housed in a pen that has a cushion dip. The powder formula is a matte finish pigment that gives a lips a bold blast of color which won’t feather, migrate, or bleed. Add a little gloss for a shiny, glossy pigmented pout.

Clinique Pop Lip Shadow Cushion Matte Lip Powder are available in eight shade selections and can be purchased now at nordstrom.com.

P.S. Happy Monday! I’m busy at work and also sneaking in catch ups of Comic Con. I’m so sad I didn’t go this year. Booooo! Anyone attend? I’m also so sad there wasn’t a Sherlock panel. God knows when we’ll see the return of Sherlock with Moff working on Dracula now and BC being so busy.

I am excited for Stranger Things Season 2 though! Looks damn brilliant. American Horror Story looks pretty interesting as well this year!

What previews were you most excited for?

Hmmm…. I’m curious about these, but as someone who has almost chronically dry lips because of my climate and my allergy meds, I’m struggling with the idea of powder on my lips. (I licked my lips 3 times just reading this article and responding!) I’ll be looking for reviews!

Interesting. I like how small and sleek those new products look like. I have a love hate relationship with matte lips though lol

I’m excited for Stranger Things 2 the most! Sherlock fans have it the worst…waiting years for new content. I’d also love to see more from Supernatural though…haven’t seen a trailer yet 🙁

    • Isabella Muse

I am too! Can’t wait to see it! Ugh! Being a Sherlock fan is terrible! By the time new episodes arrive you forgot what you watched LOL! Supernatural did have a rather cool video up from the surprise Kansas appearance at their panel. And lots of discussion about Wayward Sisters which, sorry for saying this as a big Supernatural fan, will probably flop!

October is gonna be a busy month with all the great new seasons coming out lol Yeah I heard about the surprise Kansas appearance which is so cool 😀

I agree about the Wayward Sisters spinoff…as much as I love Jody I don’t see it doing well. I mean Supernatural doesn’t even pull much ratings itself even though it’s awesome.

I think I spent the most money on everything in the Fall. Clothes, makeup, decorations, entertainment…it seems like the season that all the most awesome things come out 😀 ugh that was brilliant haha! I love Jody too but I am not a big fan of Claire’s big ass attitude problem. She’s such a whiny character. And agreed, Supernatural has been on the bubble for years because their ratings were that great towards the start of the season. Now they are doing a lot better but I dunno about WS. No hate but I’m skeptical it’ll do well. Maybe if they have a few Sam and Dean crossover moments it might garner attention!

Fall is the season I love the most. Everything comes out then and I love the whole feeling. Summer is nice and all but I hate the heat lol can’t wait for October.

Oh girl, don’t even get me started on Claire. She’s got that whole angry, angsty, rebellious teenager with an attitude problem going on and I get what she’s been through but dang! You may be Jimmy’s daughter but that doesn’t give your attitude a pass XD

Yeah I’m glad Supernatural is doing well in the ratings now. 😀 I’m skeptical as well about WS. The other spin off didn’t do as well either. Although there do seem to be more people excited about this spin off but not enough I think.

I just got back from Comic Con weekend, and it was a blast! It was my first time, so I can’t compare it to past years, but I had a lot of fun and was totally blown away by how many people there were each day. Can you believe that the line for Game of Thrones panel was 9 hours? I head heard that Comic Con was a convention of lines, but holy smokes, every panel and booth we went to had like long line. I only managed to get into two panels and never made it to some of the other booths I wanted to go to. Crazy!

omg so jelly! I went for a single panel last year! ONE! 😀 A friend of mine was with the press and I was able to attend with him. I haven’t had the full experience though it three years now?! It’s a little harder to get tickets nowadays jeez! Plus the waiting, the heat, etc..I feel too old for it all 😀 You have to literally camp out for panels jeez! They should really limit the number of tickets a bit more, less people would make for a better experience. Sure, it would disappoint a lot of fans but it would also make the ones that do attend fill like it was worth the $$$. Some people swear that NYCC is a nicer experience because it isn’t as busy but there’s nothing like SDCC, that’s the real thing! which panels did you get into? See any good cosplay?!?! I know Beth’s daughter from BPAL was dressed like Wonder Woman and she looked so adorbs! She posted pics on her Insta. They had armor made for her was so cute! https://www.instagram.com/p/BW28tPXDH5c/?taken-by=kebechet&hl=en <----

Yah, I started waiting in line for the Blade Runner Preview, but it was three hours outside in the heat! The only panels I got into were the ones my husband wanted to see, and they were all for games (Capcom (Streetfighter, Monster Hunter, etc.). Haha! I couldn’t take the lines for Stranger Things, Warner Bros.–plus, you had to line up the previous night to wait for a wristband and then come back at 7:30 am the next morning and wait in line for the panel to start later in the afternoon. No thanks! I’m just glad I got tickets and was able to go. I’ll probably try to get tickets again next year.

Everybody was dressed up as Wonder Woman and Star Wars. And for some reason, there were a lot of hairy and bushy Sailor Moons and Wonder Womans, if you know what I mean. LOL!

I’m so excited about Stranger Things 2! I wish Barbara would come back from the dead for her revenge since no one seemed to care about her. I think I have a soft spot for her because I was (still am) a geek in high school.

I just got back from SanDiego yesterday. It was a blast as usual. I feel like an old pro now. I do avoid the Hall H lines. They are brutal The wristband line for Hall H Saturday started on Thursday night until they handed out the wristbands on Friday night. Then those people jumped into the actual Hall H line. It was like a large tent town in the wristband line!! I can’t believe it was last week. It went by so quickly. Can’t wait till next year.

I’m so jelly. I didn’t go this year 🙁 Any good panels you got into to? 😀
