Are the eye shadows really that good? And where are they made (I’ve heard Catrice manufactures in Germany)?

hit and miss! I have some I love but others are too sheer! I’m not sure, I never check! I’ll look in the back of one when I get home and update!

Catrice does, at least did, mfg in Germany. It’s a German co under the same parent as Essence:Cosnova. But ynct when things go elsewhere. IIRC, Note is a the brainchild of a Turkish German person, and I think Note is made in Turkey. Whatever! The German website is unreal, massive. Far more stuff than Maybelline… I’ve had pretty good luck with Catrice. Their palettes tend to be sheer, but buildable. The singles that Ulta had were out of this world great. The lipstick is adequate, but not great shakes, and the blush is less than imaginative….here, through Ulta anyway. The eye pencils are pretty awesome, too. I believe the co is best known in Europe for mascara. Ulta’ s Catrice line up is pretty small, and changes somewhat periodically.

Ughhhh!! Too many new releases recently and it’s driving me nuts..! I like Catrice and I’m interested in the copper palette but I really need to see some reviews as the absolute rose palette was sooooo disappointing for me…

I’m one step ahead of you, Muse! Already ordered the Copper palette and one of the lip cushions. The palette is made in Italy, the cushion is as well which is funny since this is a German brand. I love this brand. The lip cushion actually impressed me as I am not into gimmicks like all this cushion makeup but this is just basically a twist up wand-like gloss with a cushion tip, no big deal really. It was comfortable to wear and the color (A Little Soulfruit) was very pretty. I have loved everything from this brand that I tried so far.

Yay! Enjoy and thanks for the details on where it is made! Sounds good can’t wait to try!

I very much appreciate everyone’s input. I think I can safely pass on these. Lord knows I’ve spent enough money on mid-to-high end and there is no need for me to revert to drugstore palettes and take a chance. Money better used towards prestige purchases.

I ordered the copper and nude palettes from ulta. I got the wrong item in place of the nude palette, it was a strobing click pen. Emailed ulta, they were really nice, sent me out a new one. It arrived…strobing click pen again. haha. Seems they had the wrong item number on the nude palette online. They fixed it but I haven’t reordered yet. Haven’t tried the copper palette yet, life has been insane lately. Hoping to get some time soon.
