Colourpop I Think I Love You Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

Colourpop I Think I Love You Eyeshadow Palette ($16) is a new pressed shadow palette that contains 12 gorgeous matte and metallic shimmer shades that launched for the Fall 2017 season earlier this month. I have to say this is probably the best sixteen bucks I’ve spent on my makeup. The palette is filled with gorgeous shades, the formula is incredible, and it’s something I think I’ll get a lot of use out of.

Here’s my review and swatches!

Colourpop I Think I Love You Eyeshadow Palette comes housed in a sturdy rose gold metallic cardboard palette with a magnetic closure. There is no mirror here but I’m not really bugged at all by that as for the price the packaging is quite nice even without it. This holds 0.36 oz of eyeshadow which some might say isn’t a lot but again, at this price point it’s a perfect amount. The palette stored easily for me without taking up a ton of space.

Shades include:

  • Bitter Better (metallic soft gold)
  • Bel Air (matte cool taupe)
  • Fancy Face (metallic bright red copper)
  • Girls Bite (metallic golden bronze)
  • Howdy (metallic red bronze)
  • Rowdy (matte warm ivory)
  • My Treat (metallic champagne ivory)
  • Level Up (metallic bright penny copper)
  • Screw It (metallic soft rose gold)
  • Let’s Do It (matte true black)
  • Rule Breaker (metallic bright yellow gold)
  • My Type (matte deep saddle brown)

Fall is here! And this palette serves up Fall shades by the plenty with warm orange coppers, browns, and golds. It embraces the matte metallic trend that’s currently sweeping the beauty world with a selection four matte shades, five metallics, and three satins. All 12 shades were fantastically pigmented with excellent color pay and a soft, easy to blend formula that applies and wears beautifully. Some of the shades did have larger chunks of sparkle which causes some fall out but they blended well without issues. I can’t rave the texture of the shades enough. They are so soft, silky, and easy to apply with great pigmentation! It’s a formula you might question, “Did I really pay only $16 for this!??!” They just apply so well and look so incredible on my lids!

It feels like there’s so much you can do with this palette, so many looks you can create. There’s such a great warm shade selection here that might seem repetitive if you have a lot of warm toned eyeshadows but for me, seeing them together like this, just makes me feel inspired to create warm, cozy looks for autumn!

All in all, Colourpop I Think I Love You Eyeshadow Palette is a must have. At this price point with this performance and formula you can’t afford to not haul it.

it’s is GORGEOUS! I don’t own anything from Colorpop. I’m afraid to get started because STORAGE. lol

I agree. Have not hopped on the Colour Pop train yet because I have way too much makeup and my fear is I will love this brand and then that’s another brand to tempt me. However, these shades are right up my alley and I love anything metallic so I might say screw it and buy a ticket to the Colour Pop train. Ugh!

Yes, those colors are beautiful; I don’t own anything from colour pop…yet. But these shades look great on you. I dont have the courage to wear black eyeshadow. But I love it. Make up should be fun, but I stick with browns. I need to branch out.

Definitely. CP is almost always reliable/good quality, and unreal for price. Love ’em. One of the probs with that is, you want to get it all, just ’cause they look so great, and are highly likely to perform well. I’m trying to moderate CP lust. No to this, but browns/bronzes aren’t my forte, anyway. Got Koi, yin to my yang….which should give me practice in damping down glaring duochromes, f’sure, and another single. Their brights…I’m talking texture/metallicity, not the color, are a bit blinding for this old broad. Did finally score a yes, please, and forewent She. One of CP good points is they usually have shades available as singles as well as palettes. Another is if it sucks/you hate it, someone you know will love it, and you aren’t throwing away a big wad of cash.

First CP nay vote for yin to my yang. From three of the colors being hella similar, two almost identical in day as well as night light, to poor binder to pigment ratio. Dusty, flyaway, ugh. Two are that green or blue w/a red/brown base duos, in the vein of UD Lounge. A few glitter particles with the suggestion of a base color. Omg, bad. Maybe/probably only as a topper. really surprisingly terrible for CP. the koi single is fine. I had a Divine Retribution week in m/u purchases. Other suckies as well! Glad I’m still laughing.

I have this and love it so much! I decided to give the brand a try and now I’m hooked! I love the super shock shadows, I have started a palette of singles which are really nice, and of course this palette. The creme lip gloss is awesome too. I’ve placed 4 orders and have been really happy with shipping time and packaging. Overall, one of my favorite brands as of late.

This is probably a huge sign that I own/buy too much makeup… but after receiving this in the mail I opened it, marveled at how pretty it is, then completely misplaced it! Haven’t even had a chance to use it! Gonna have to search the house…

But CP is really incredible, especially for the price. Its tough to not want all their new releases though!

Just gorgeous shades – just wished that they had a really dark brown matte instead of the black, but it really doesn’t matter – this looks fabulous for only $16.
