It Cosmetics It Girl Your Life-Changing Eye & Cheek Palette ($48) for Holiday 2017 arrives today with a gorgeous selection of shades for eyes and face. This is an exciting one as this year they changed up things quite a bit as the last few Holiday Palettes have been a rehash of the Naturally Pretty Palette in a smaller size. Not that that’s a bad thing as that’s one of my favorite palettes but I think the It Girl Palette is a refreshing change this year.

Here’s a look!

It Cosmetics It Girl Your Life-Changing Eye & Cheek Palette is a limited edition palette that contains 10 matte and radiant finish eyeshadow palettes as well as an Bye Bye Pores Ombre Blush!

Shades include:

  • Superhero Eye Foundation in Beautiful
  • Superhero Eye Foundation in IT Girl
  • Naturally Pretty Eyeshadow in Glitz
  • Naturally Pretty Eyeshadow in Lovely
  • Naturally Pretty Eyeshadow in Stunning
  • Naturally Pretty Eyeshadow in Divine
  • Naturally Pretty Eyeshadow in Charming
  • Naturally Pretty Eyeshadow in Darling
  • Naturally Pretty Eyeshadow in Dazzle
  • Naturally Pretty Eyeshadow in Brilliant
  • Bye Bye Pores Blush in It Girl

The most appealing aspect of the palette for me is the blush as I’m a big fan of the Bye Bye Pores Blush formula and always eager to add new shades to my stash. But the shadows are brilliant as well! Their matte formula is super silky, easy to apply, and always looks great on my eyes. They are one of the brands that turned me onto matte shades.

It Cosmetics It Girl Your Life-Changing Eye & Cheek Palette is available now at ulta.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Muse I saw this on Ulta website. I wonder if the shades are similar to previous it cosmetics eye palettes. Are you buying this one? Thanks.

i ordered this last week when it was first on ulta.com this palette is INSANELY GORGEOUS!!!! Pigmented, buttery, blends like a dream! Everyone needs!

Aww I’m afraid that I bought this as a gift for my sister and had to return it immediately. The colors were gorgeous! However, the palette had a cheap plasticky feel to it and smelled strongly of chemicals/glue. I didn’t want my sister to puke each time she opened the palette to use it! Even the Ulta girl who processed my return agreed it smelled like acrylic glue or something like that. I’m not sure if it was from the glue they used to fuse all that bling onto the package or what, but I was sad to return it. If no one else’s palette has that funky plastic smell, you’re very lucky to own such a gorgeous palette!!

Brains are funny. The minute I saw this on Ulta, my mind produced a picture of you with this on. Hope you get it and show us. I’d check it out irl, but would not order blind. This year, irl is equivalent to rule out a lot.

I just bought this yesterday at Ulta. It looks gorgeous and the shades swatched were very pigmented!!!! I wonder, though, if anyone has trouble with It Cosmetics eyeshadow trios???? I have bought and returned them all because I cannot get any pigment out of them. But they won a QVC award for best eyeshadows. I am fair, but not that pale. I wonder if I’m doing something wrong????

    • Robin

It’s not you Jonnie. I had the same problems with IT trios. I’m pale as Casper and could not get enough product out of the two trios I ordered and sent them back. That’s the reason I haven’t ordered any other eye products from IT.

    • Bethanne

Same here, Jonnie. I love a few IT Cosmetics items, but the eyeshadows (in the past) were a big “no” for me. They just didn’t show up on my eyelids and there was no color payoff. I’m curious to hear from others how this one differs from past eyeshadow trios and sets.

Also, that sounds gross about the chemical smell!

I bought one of their trios and was super underwhelmed! They barely showed up and I’m super fair.

I put this in my favorites the day it launched, it looks perfect. I’ll definitely be looking forward to your thoughts on it. I haven’t tried IT eye shadow yet, but I do love quite a few of their products. For me this brand is either love or hate, but I’ve had enough good luck that I will definitely try anything.

  • Dee

I love IT shadows. I use a primer first and have no problem with pigmentation. I really would like to try this but the smell concerns me. Ulta does take returns so that’s good.

  • Dee

Was in Ulta yesterday and they had one left so I grabbed it. The mix of matte and radiant finish is good and the colors are beautiful. I did notice a smell but not too bad, and I’m hoping if I leave it out on my counter it will disappear.

  • Dee

I’ve left mine out on my counter since I got it and the smell is gone, but what a shame this is even necessary. I’m guessing it’s all the glue to hold the sparkly things on the front.

I do like this palette. The shadows show up on me and are buildable and blend able. The blush is gorgeous. This is a keeper for me and very happy I got it.

I’m tempted to get this because of the base shades, shimmers and packaging. Have you seen the Lid? It looks like crushed diamonds.
