Essence Cooling & Relaxing Eye Pads $3.99 Well Spent!

One of my greatest joys in life is laying back on my bed with a pair of Essence Cooling & Relaxing Eye Pads on my eyes while I listen to Billie Holiday. A girl gotta de-puff and relax sometimes right?

No but seriously, $3.99 is probably the best money you’ll ever spend on these cooling, reusable eye pads.

Here’s how they work!

Honestly, I’ve never been into all hocus pocus beauty tips for de-puffing bags under my eyes. Eye creams, drink more water, cold spoons, cucumbers, teabags, it all seems like a bunch of silliness to me. Eye bags are eye bags and the only thing that helps is good concealer as far as I’m concerned.

I’ve always had puffy eyes! Now that I’m getting older they seem so much worst than ever before. This translates as I’ll try ANYTHING to get rid of them. I can honestly say I’ve tried it all and the only thing you can rely on the conceal puffiness is a damn good concealer.

And maybe a set of Essence Cooling & Relaxing Eye Pads!

I admit these seem like a gimmick but they are darn cute! The pads are shaped like cucumber pads and contain a cooling gel. Simply pop them in the fridge (not the freezer) for an hour (or do what I do and leave them in the fridge until you are ready to use them) and than put them on your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes or longer should you like. What happens? Well, your puffiness probably won’t completely disappear. You didn’t expect miracles for four bucks did you? But your eyes will look refreshed, bright, happy, and you’ll notice some of your puffiness will decrease. These are great when you are prepping for a night out after a busy day and you need to get your eyes in order before doing your makeup. Or even as a nice way to de-stress after a long day. I’ve taken to using them nightly when I have the time and after applying my eye cream and other nightly skincare. I feel like they make my eyes look so much better come the AM.

So, yes, go get a set. Totally a great way to wake up those tired eyes!

I’m definitely interested in this. After turning 40, all kinds of fun things have happened, including bags and dark circles.

I think it’s one of their shop exclusives sadly! But they are doing black friday/cyber monday deals so I’m sure you’ll be able to haul them and a few other things at a steal!
