When Money is No Object There’s the Hourglass The Confession Lipstick Archive

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Imagine a world where you can drop $650 on this Hourglass The Confession Lipstick Archive. Having a hard time picturing it? Yeah, me too. Few this is a crazy makeup vault like I’ve never seen before as it contains the full archive of every single shade of Hourglass Confession Ultra Slim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick (30 in all).

Technically speaking though it’s actually a selection of refills because they only give you two of the gold interchangeable barrels. At this price, they should have just put each of the lipsticks in their own barrel. Also, when I originally reviewed Hourglass Confession Ultra Sim High Intensity Refillable Lipstick my biggest complaint was the 0.03 oz size. Ouch. So, again, at $650 this doesn’t actually pay home to a TON of lipstick even if all 30 shades are include.

Shades include:

  • I Wish (neutral nude)
  • One Day (nude pink)
  • The First Time (pinky beige)
  • I Lust For (peachy beige)
  • I’ll Never Stop (beige nude)
  • I’ve Never (nude rose)
  • I Want (medium rose)
  • I Woke Up (dusty rose)
  • If Only (deep rose)
  • I’m Addicted (terracotta rose)
  • No One Knows (peachy pink)
  • I’ve Kissed (pink lilac)
  • My Favorite (neutral pink)
  • You Can Find Me (coral pink)
  • I Always (hot pink)
  • I Believe (vivid pink)
  • I Can’t Wait (vivid fuchsia)
  • I Live For (vibrant coral)
  • I Desire (vivid red orange)
  • I Crave (bright red)
  • My Icon Is (blue red)
  • Secretly (classic red)
  • I Can’t Live Without (red currant)
  • At Night (brick red)
  • I’ve Been (deep rose brown)
  • One Time (aubergine)
  • When I’m With You (deep magenta)
  • When I’m Alone (dark berry)
  • If I Could (true plum)
  • I Hide My Deep (plum)

It sure is pretty to look at but until I win the lotto no Hourglass The Confession Lipstick Archive for me.

If you do have this kind of cash to throw around it’s available now at nordstrom.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Yeah, you’re right Muse. This is a collectors item for those that can casually throw that much money at lipstick. What puzzles me about these vaults is even if you were willing to spend that much, why would you? I do understand collecting but if you were actually going to use these, how many people could wear every single shade?

mmm I can’t knock someone for WANTING all the shades because I’m like that to some extent ;-D haha!

Actually if you bought them all individually it would be like $684 since they are refills… its only about a 5% savings which is not that enticing at all. Probably the worst value I’ve ever seen on a set. Hard pass… would much rather just cherry pick a couple shades!

omg you’re right. I wasn’t taking into consideration the refill price!

Well, if this is too rich for your blood, there’s a Julep vault for only 250. Only. And that one, unlike this, could be divided amongst friends. I assume this has one case and a bazillion refills. The cost per ounce on this was distinctly offensive to begin with. Not highly into HG, anyway, except mood exposure. But that julep is a real nice formula. I agree about not using all colors….though I used to, when younger.
