Moschino x Sephora is Back in Stock

After much drama and a quick sell out Moschino x Sephora pissed a lot of people off to say the least. To this day I still do not understand what happened with this collection. I felt for sure it would have been a Jem x Sephora situation where the items did not sell out and just went on sale a few weeks later. But this collection literally launched one day and within minutes of the launch it disappeared.

I guess I underestimated the powder of Moschino.

None the less it is all back in stock at Sephora.com but don’t hesitate who knows how long it will be around.

    For what it’s worth, I bought the shopping bag eye shadow palette when it first released and I do like it. I may remove the shadow palette from the shopping bag packaging at some point because, although it is small, it’s also bulky.

    I was able to get what I wanted this time around, but I remember telling the ladies at my local Sephora that I would bet every red cent in my bank account that this will be re-released around the holidays. We can never say for sure what these money making machine corporate “cumps” have up their sleeves, but the holiday season is the most financially rewarding time of the year. So, considering the mass hysteria that went on over this collection, it’s no wonder it popped up again right before the last two major holidays of the year. But they really, really pissed a lot of people off in a big way with the first launch (myself included) so I hope for their sake if this was in fact a sell out collection, they heavily massed produced it this time. Some people on instagram are selfishly upset because they were able to get two or three WHOLE COLLECTIONS (to send overseas…), so they are saying this is very disappointing to see it now. Again, I think this was a very strategic marketing move, and I would not be surprised if this happened to pop up again, for a third “limited edition” release. Packaging has really taken a whole new presence and meaning these days.

    Thanks for the heads up! Missed out on the initial launch and really wanted the lipgloss/necklace set. Managed to snag that this time AND use the $25 off $50 Rouge coupon.

    I think the difference was before launch, word got around that the shadows were actually really good. The shadow palette in particular launched in a really good place where it dropped before the 6854078640786407 other red/wine/berry palettes that ended up coming out this year were available – I think FemRosa was pretty much all there was and it was still in restock limbo/hell at the time. I missed the Bear and was bummed at the time… now I’m not like ‘omg have to have’ because we’ve now seen so many releases with similar colors in the interim. I got FemRosa, I got the mini shopping tote palette which had most of the shades I really wanted… while there’s still a few on the full palette that appeal to me, it’s not worth the full $48 anymore because I’ve filled in those holes in my collection, shadewise.

    I do admit to buying the brushes back at launch, though, just because they’re cute… haven’t used them even though I’ve heard they’re legit, I pretty much just have them as decor haha

    It’s the ole “Sweet Peach” marketing ploy! Maximized FOMO – I never wanted either item so intensely until they sold out super fast. This was a popular schtick with kids games / toys – the anguish of missing out on the White Power Ranger , despite being 20 years ago, still haunts me!

    I’m having FOMO over the Charlotte Tilbury cyber Monday mystery box. I was in a crappy mood because of all the emails, I was just over it. Now that I saw what you got, as well as the Perfum, I wish I would have been more patient. Oh well.

      aw sorry Jennifer! I’m sure it’ll come back next year! I don’t blame you! It was overwhelming! The sales were insane! After a while it did my head in!
