There’s a New St. Ives Cleansing Stick On the Way to Drugstores

The new St. Ives Cleansing Stick ($7.99) will be launching shortly at drugstores and I’m always on the hunt to find them. There’s a hydrating stick formula that contains cactus water and hibiscus, an apricot and manuka honey one which exfoliates and smooths, and a matcha green tea and ginger formula which acts to detox.

Last year, St. Ives introduced their facial oil scrub and I quite liked it so, I expect good things from the new cleansing sticks. Although, I suspect they’ll be loaded with fragrance and other irritants. Le sigh!

I imagine the cleansing stick and skincare stick trend is going to be huge this year at drugstores. It’s already a fad that has long since died out in the higher and mid-range brand world but drugstores are just starting to pick up on it. Yes to Coconut Energizing Coffee 2-in-1 Scrub & Cleanser Stick, Physicians Formula Charcoal Detox Cleansing Stick, and Physicians Formula Refreshmint Cooling Stick are just three of the latest and newest skincare sticks to launch at drugstores but I suspect we’ll see many others as we head deeper into the Spring 2018 season.

I’ll be on the look out for the new St. Ives Cleansing Sticks and let you know when I spot them and of course, what I think of them.

What do you think?

Are they something you want to check out?

Do share!

These look nice Muse. The one with honey seems good to exfoliate. I am curious. Do these type of sticks get messy after use? Thanks.

It depends! Some get quite messy and need to be rinsed off. Others are dense and don’t “melt” as much so they aren’t too messy!

I haven’t tried any of these yet, but they intrigue the heck out of me!! I’m going to keep an eye out for some of these and I know I’ll pounce as soon as I see one (or more…) of them! Wait…. I’ll make a list of the ones my skintwin Muse likes, and I’ll keep an eye out for THOSE!!! Dang – sometimes I’m so smart, I can hardly stand myself….. 😀

I’m definitely going to look for these! My skin has been dreadful lately, thanks to the meloxicam I’m on for my autoimmune issues. Which is a shame, because it was always the least of my worries. I just dropped some $ on The Ordinary line, but still need a good cleanser. Never know, these could be it.
