About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Am I the only one who doesn’t get this palette? I loved the Just Peachy Mattes, but this one looks so washed out and boring. It’s probably for the best, anyway – I don’t need any more makeup! 😉

    • Isabella Muse

I don’t either. It’s just shades that won’t work for me. I’m going to buy it because I want to review it for the blog but you’re not alone. I think a cooler tone might like it though! A lot of my readers commented they liked the pairing of plum and peach!

No thank you I am over too faced and the non stop peach cr*p. I’m pretty much not purchasing from Too Faced at all anymore and I am on a low buy for 2018 I really need to get a grip on the amount of makeup I have . However I am not saying no to lipsticks I love lipsticks!!!!

  • Susan

Nope, too much peach and orange for me. I only like peach as a contrast, and if they had a palette that was mostly plum, gray, silver, & navy blue, with one or two pops of peach, maybe I’d get it. TF needs to realize there are more things in the world than chocolate and peach.

I am suuuuuper fair and these colors are exactly my jam, but when it gets down to very subtle differences in color like most of the shades in this palette it doesn’t seem to matter since no one else can tell. I’ll think about it, but I probably won’t get this. Besides, I already have too much makeup lol 😀

Yes, I bought it but you already knew that. I like muted, cooler colors so it was an easy purchase for me.

Agreed. Muted works for an oldbie like me. This has been the only one to catch my eye. Light, without the white base of pastels. TMS (too much stash) makes me fear overduping. Somebody help me out with terminology. The mattes all seem to have the same depth of saturation. Somehow, they are pretty much all the same on whatever factor that is. That might be the boring factor. Maybe I mean intensity. Whatever. Think I will either love this or hate it…after swatching, and you and Christine weigh in. But I agree. tf, enough, already, move ON!

  • Michelle

I’m also fair, cool-toned, so this interests me but I’ll wait for the reviews.

  • Lisa

I have the oringinal Peach palette and it has always been a bit tough for me to wear because it is so warm. This one looks beautiful and light and right up my alley so I’ve already spent my hard earned moolah and ordered it!

  • Katy

I plan to get it. Once it goes on sale. Doesn’t Sephora do 20% off for rouge in the spring?

  • diane

i’m so excited for this palette. i didn’t by the first matte peach in this shape because it did not scream at me. but i love the lighter shades, pinks and cool tones of this. if you didn’t buy it yet i’d be happy to do a guest post for you so you can save your money my friend! just let me know

    • Isabella Muse

hey d! I actually did purchase it but you’re welcome to guest post if you want as you’re a lighter tone for me and might experience it differently. So far, I’m on the fence. It’s looks chalky on me but I think it’s because I have warmer undertones. The colors seem very sheer as well!
