I Hope I Don’t Regret My Butter London Glazen Blush Gelee Purchase

Butter London Glazen Blush Gelee ($26) is a new take on their Glazen Eye Gloss formula but for your face. This blush has a lightweight finish with a pudding texture that applies easily and gives cheeks and face a multi-dimensional shimmery luminous finish. They launched in four shade selections and even launched a new Glazen Face Glow Highlighter as well! Seems like they are going for a Farsali Jelly Beam Illuminator type product with these two launches.

I ordered a shade as I have hopes it’ll be a cute, glow-y. But I’m a little concerned it’ll either be too much shimmer and glow or it won’t have enough pigment to actually work as a blush and instead be more of a highlighter! Or maybe it’ll be too pigment and in that case it’ll be fine I can always sheer it out with a brush or a sponge.

Shades:

  • Flicker
  • Dazzle
  • Glimmer
  • Sparkle

Some of the shades are odd like Sparkle which appears brown! It looks more like an eyeshadow than a blush but promo images can be very deceiving.

I just hope I don’t regret the purchase.

We’ll see!

Butter London Glazen Blush Gelee is available now at ulta.com.

Their eye glosses look at bit darker than they are when applied. I really like the three I have, especially oil slick. These blushes look great!

Yes. Oil slick is decent and a bit different. One of them…mermaid, maybe, is vastly more glittery and will get fallout during wear. They are odd to get the hang of, for app. Stiff cream shadow brush vs. finger. Often I think too much work, but if time…. They lend themselves to a decent one and done. I’m waiting to try instore, and possibly for an Ulta sale, but suspect they have fished me for one or more of these.

I looked at these earlier. I tried out the eye gloss last night and I actually really liked it. It dries down nicely. Doesn’t look wet, but the shine is nice. I’ll wait for your thoughts! 🙂

I saw these pop up on ulta.. but i need to wait to next paycheck and now maybe i’ll await for a muse approval 😛

Eager to read your review! These look very very pretty. I have a couple of the eye glosses, one (Oil Slick) is gorgeous but I rarely have opportunity to wear it, as it’s a little much for my day-to-day looks, and the other (Spark. . . a “warm sparkling champagne”) is a crazy glitter bomb that I’ve worn exactly once, though I did get compliments when I wore it. They’re fun to touch, and I can see them working as blushes. . . maybe. Hope you like!

I’ve seen terrible reviews but they look gorgeous! I’m trying to decide if I need them or not!
