Brand New Makeup and Beauty to Haul At Ulta

Ulta has let loose quite a few new beauty and makeup launches this morning including the Smashbox Petal Metal Collection which I hauled like it was on fire. I forgot what it felt like for a second there to be excited about make for a minute but Smashbox renewed some of my excitement with this launch and I can’t wait to get my package and see it all in person! I hope it doesn’t disappointed.

Of course, the added bonus too all this is the fact that Ulta also sent Platinum and Diamond Members 20% off which totally makes things so much nicer when plotting a major haul.

If you’re seeing things to buy with that 20% off here’s a few brand new launches that are worth a look at.

As far as I’m concerned the Smashbox Petal Metal Collection is a look at in its entirety but the Cover Shot Petal Metal Eyeshadow Palette ($29) is one of the star features of the collection. I love the dusky roses in this palette and I hope it doesn’t disappoint.

Nudestix Boho Babe Set ($59) has a rather fab festival collection available that includes a travel pouch as well as four Meganetic Eye Colors, one Gel Color Lip + Cheek Balm, and a Magnetic Matte Lip Color all inspired by the warm shades of the desert. It’s a rather nice set that looks like it’ll make some nice Summer looks! I also like that this is a lot of no-nonsense makeup. Quick swipe and blend application is sometimes the way to go when you’re lazing in the AM!

Lipstick Queen Blue By You Metallic Lipstick ($25) is the newest color changing lipstick to join LQ’s family! This is a tribute to the era of blue eyeshadow aka the 70’s. It may be blue at a glance but this moisturizing lip color changes to a pearlized raspberry pink after application!

Speaking of Lipstick Queen, how about the new Reign & Shine Lip Gloss ($20)? I totally ordered one! Available in six shades this sheer gloss contains crushed golden pearls to give your lips gorgeous shine and shimmer!

Another new lipgloss that caught my eye is Laura Geller’s Nude Kisses Lip Hugging Lip Gloss ($21) which is available in a variety of nude shades with a creamy, moisturizing formula that adds glossiness and color to lips!

As I mentioned in an earlier post the Maybelline Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette ($13.99) finally landed at Ulta! There was some confusion who and what drugstores would be getting this one and someone had mentioned it was exclusive to Amazon and Walmart but appears not as Ulta got it too!

Another stunning eyeshadow palette I have my eye on is the Butter London Glazen Smooth Silk Eyeshadow Palette ($36) which has a stunning selection of sparkly smoky shades. Apparently, the formula gives a wet-look with super sparkle!

BH Cosmetics has yet another youTube influencer palette available which is the Marvycorn by Marvyn Macnificent Eyeshadow and Highlighter Palette ($17.50) that has some colorful shades and a My Pony vibe going on!

Tony Moly Peach Cleansing Water ($16.50) which I raved in a recent review and was out of stock is now available! This one is well worth picking up if you use micellar water in your double-cleansing routine or just really enjoy one step cleansing! Also, available is the new Tony Moly Peach Cleansing Sherbet ($26.50) which is a cleansing balm that smells like peaches!

Bliss relaunched and repackaged their entire line recently with newer releases like Jelly Glow Ball Cleanser that the Internet is going mad over. I’m typically in a love hate relationship with some of Bliss Skincare but was curious enough to order two of their new masks! One being the Mighty Marshmallow Mask ($16) apparently revises dull skin and gives it a lit from within glow! Yes please! The second one is the What A Melon Overnight Mask that removes dead cells and leaves skin dewy. At $16 plus 20% off I figure it couldn’t hurt to try these out!

I know many of you wanted to check out the Covergirl Melting Pout Holographic Lip Color which recently launched and now might be a good time to grab these with your discount!

And finally the Ardell Pro Eyeshadow Palette ($15) caught my eye. It isn’t getting the best reviews but I thought with my discount it wouldn’t be too crazy to check it out. I’m really liking the looks of the taupe shimmer palette and decided to haul it.

    Ohhhh no Lipstick Queen didn’t! Sooo glad I came here first this morning. I’ve been building my Ulta cart up carefully and of course NEED that new lipstick. And am LOVING the look of the Smashbox palette.

      Remember that the coupon ends on the 21, for delayed cart building. They come out with new stuff so fast and furiously, that it’s worth it to wait.

    Muse! Every time you post something I am enticed to buy it lol. I’m actually interested in the Smashbox Vlada highlighters, the new Nars blush kit, the too faced face palette and the Elizabeth and James Nirvana Bourbon perfume.     That Laura Geller lip gloss is calling my name. I sadly didn’t see that lip gloss this AM when I ordered the Maybelline palette. Rats! But ya know I’m still gonna order one (or 2) anyways. lol.

    I ended up getting the Morphe 24G Grand Glam palette. Not new, but since it’s online only I had to get it. Especially after seeing the swatches and reading the reviews. Extremely excited to see it in person.

    Like I said in another post, I had already ordered the Maybelline Lemonade palette at Amazon so that’s coming my way this week too.

    I saw that Butter London palette when I was purusing the New Arrivals pages and it does look gorgeous indeed but wanted to see it in person and wait for reviews as you never know how eyeshadows are going to swatch/perform nowadays.

    Also got the new Eternity Air perfume by CK with my Ulta 20 off. I hope I like it. They didn’t have a tester for it when I was at Ulta last weekend so it’s a blind purchase but all the other versions of Eternity I love and Air just sounds lovely for Spring/Summer.

    I walked into my local Ulta this PM & bought with my Platinum 20% coupon the Smashbox CoverShot Punked palette. It was in stock according to online check store feature. It was not on the shelves, & I had to ask salesclerk to locate it in the back. I also picked up the Lancôme Energie Mini Mask Trio. I will play with one of the jars tonight “� looks like they are not a one & done Trio.

    The new rose colored set looks very nice but it doesn’t become available until 5 days from now on the 18th. I own a CoverGirl Roses palette already so it’s not needed. The store did have the Smashbox LE Neutrals palette that comes with a mascara & eyeliner pencil.

    I can’t shop at Ulta any more, even if I’m tempted by shiny new things. My last order arrived used (lipsticks) and I just can’t bring myself to take the chance again.

    It’s a bummer.

    U: scour the site. And wait to pounce. I found some Ofra that they never put in new releases, including an easel style Z type palette. For those that are depotting queens, it looks like just the thing to comb the stash and put in the colors of the day. My Zs are primarily by brand, so it gives the opportunity to pick from different brands for the same look, without picking out singles to lie around or sticking to one brand. 3-5 eyes, a blush, powder found, maybe, HL, maybe. Sounds like a good org tool to me. Hope you like new Bliss. Many devotees are devastated, rather than thrilled. But, you were meh, so maybe great. As to the BL eye palette, was somewhat surprised it wasn’t COTY. Liked last year’s Greenery a lot. Cover the COTY, and you had a rose gold look, a cooler look, pretty idiot proof/good beginner palette, no hella glitter, and decent. I think BL is vastly underrated.

    I have my eye on that Smashbox palette for sure, it’s beautiful. Also the Butter London one. I’ve tried the Nudestix eye stuff, but I had a terrible reaction to them. My eyes got all red and itchy and looked scaly. A shame because I love the practicality of them. I’m definitely going to get the Lemonade palette. It looks so cute. I picked up the Bliss microdermabrasion and it’s really great. So I was thinking a mask next, but I just have so many masks right now. I might wait until the next sale for those. I was hoping to grab some CosRx blemish pads, but they are out of stock. I might try a Pacifica sheet mask too. 🙂

    I caved! I ordered yesterday the Smashbox Petal Metal Covershot Eyeshadow palette & the Petal Metal Rose Gold Liquid Eyeliner. I used accumulated rewards points plus got free shipping.
