Here’s What To Buy at Ulta With Your 20% Off Coupon

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

It’s has been confirmed that Ulta is sending out 20% off coupon codes which you either think is really great since the discount is more than Sephora is offering or maybe you think it’s horrible because you have a cart filled with stuff on both Ulta and Sephora’s site. Show of hands who is dealing with that dilemma?

I’m raising my hand very here.

The nice thing about Ulta’s sale is I can score some items I had on my Sephora list at an extra 5% off. For example, Becca Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder was in my Sephora cart but I swapped it out and decided to get it from Ulta instead. Be sure to get to go through your Sephora wish list with a fine tooth comb and pop anything you can get cheaper into your Ulta cart.

Anyway, I’m still making up my Ulta list but here’s a few ideas about what you should buy with your 20% off if you’re lacking an ideas which I doubt you are as you’re likely just as crazy about makeup as I am and already have a solid game plan.

Do try CosRX! This Korean brand is taking the US market by storm lately and its no wonder as they have a good deal of solid performing products that delivery results. Right now the skincare world is abuzz with the promise of the new One Poreless Power Liquid that recently launched in the Philippines and apparently sold out in a flash. The formula promises glass skin which make it an instant smashing success for Asian consumers. A few retailers will get it on April 16th but I suspect it’ll sell out equally fast in the US. Hopefully Ulta gets it soon!

CosRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence

But right now you can still get some great CoxRX goodies at Ulta none the less like Galactomyces 95 Tone Balancing Essence to even out and brighten skin tone. Whatever you end up getting I’m sure you’ll love it. CosRX doesn’t disappoint!

Speaking of Korean beauty don’t forget Too Cool for School launched recently at Ulta! You might want to check out that Egg Cream Mask Hydration Mask I was raving earlier this month. I’m also a found fan of their Egg Mellow Cream which I use as a daily moisturizer! It’s available in a set that includes one Egg Cream Mask as well as Egg Mousse Soap and a little facial scrubber.

Another good pick right now is from none other than Ulta Beauty. Ulta’s released some of their Spring line and I see a few interesting items that I might want to pick up plus select items are buy 2, get 1 free. Ulta Metal Maniac Dual-Ended Eye Kit has my eye at the moment. This set includes 3 dual-sided cream shadows that have a matching glitter eyeliner. Some of their newer bath and body items caught my eye as well. I never underestimate Ulta’s bath and body section as they have come up with some really good scents over the years! I think I’m going to indulge in the Lime Coconut Moisturizing Body Wash and Lotion and Pineapple, Watermelon, Buttercream Cupcake, and Cocolada Body Sorbets. They also recently launched their Juice Infused Lip Oil in a tinted version which I’m curious about! And a new Mineral Blush that looks like the old Milani Mineral Blush! Wonder if it is as good!?

If you’re looking into eyeshadow palettes don’t pass up two new Pur Palettes! The Visionary Eyeshadow Palette is a stunning selection of nudes, plums, and roses and the new Boxycharm Palette is colorful selection of peaches, blues, pinks, and more!

Some other notable items are the Too Faced It Comes Naturally Collection, Tarte’s Mermaid Collection, and Pacifica has a host of new makeup, skin, and hair care that launched for Spring 2018.

Whatever you purchase I hope it’s something beautiful!

Enjoy!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Actually I picked up the Storybook Cosmetics Roses are Black and Gun Metal Wizard Wands brushes, I’ve been eyeing these for a while! That’s it from Ulta for me, I want to get stuff at Sephora too.

  • Tracy

I have to pop in here and rave about the Ulta Mineral blush. I have the shade Tiger Lily and I think it’s my favorite blush of all time! It’s a subtle, buildable peachy shade with a gorgeous sheen. I can’t recommend it enough!

Getting it! Thanks 😀 I used to really enjoy the Milani’s ones and I saw this pop up and I was like whoa! Those look alike!

    • CarrieAnne

{makes a new shopping cart and starts adding $100 worth of products} 😀

  • Melissa

A good time to pick up the Smashbox Metal Petal collection which should also launch shortly at Ulta before the 20% expires.

  • Melissa

And not forgetting the UD HiFi shine Ultra Cushion lip glasses. Have been waiting to try them out

  • Paige

Good timing, I’d like that $54 Kabuki IT/Ulta Velvet brush if not excluded.

  • Susan

The second PUR palette you show isn’t the Visionary Palette, but I can attest that it (Visionary) is AMAZING. So buttery and pigmented. PUR has a travel palette set that I think I may get in this sale.

  • Violetsrblu

Thank you, my Beauty Muse, for the recommendations on stuff I would have not thought about trying out at Ulta.

Glass skin trend, hell ya. Since my debit went down for a spate, used the U card and have 50 to spend. I always have an Ulta first policy, so this is just another good bennie. My S is going to be primarily scent, as m/u is feeling like overglut. Maybe some lipstories; keep my DE lust in check. U, well, Cosrx aha/bha toner is getting low, and is OOS. Cannot live w/o, and don’t quite get why Mizon is presumed better. Have short lists for both. Had to pick up a n/p for b’day gift add-on, so went to local U today. They expanded MUR, have a Morphe section, and are resetting the store. Again. On fire, baby.

I think I’ll get the Tarte Make Every Moment Count Cheek Palette. Looks like a nice wearable trio. Also maybe that new Ulta Rainbow Dust Eye palette. It looks fun 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

that’s a cute palette! I was thinking I of grabbing it for travel! Didn’t see tha Ulta Rainbow Dust though! Gotta go look it up!

  • Robin

I called Ulta since I didn’t get. Coupon and they emailed me one! Thank you Muse!!i

Representative said that if y9u don’t make a purchase every 60 Days or so, your account will go dormant and you won’t get 1the coupons.

I leaped from my no buy wagon and bought:
    NARS volume I palette
Smashbox Cali Contour palette (supposed to be good for fair skin people)
    Japonesque Velvet eyeshadow palette
Some L’oreal eyeliners and Revlon primer.

I really want Pur Visionary Palette, but I want to see the Japonesque one first. I think I will use all those colors over the Visionary one.

    • Isabella Muse

My pleasure Robin glad you got one! Interesting info there that explains a lot! great haul 😀

  • Carla

I was disappointed by the body sorbets, although the Buttercream smells amazing. The formula isn’t my fav, though, and the scent fades almost immediately.

  • Dee

Muse and everyone— Ulta just released the Maybelline Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette! I just ordered mine from their website. You’re welcome. 🙂 PS- hoping it’s like their mini city palettes. I like those.

  • Hollie

I have a 5x NARS multiplier so I picked up some lippies, the new Radiant foundation, the Radiant Creamy concealer, and the UD Naked Basics mini palette that’s on sale. How do I not have that already?… anyways 🙂

  • CarrieAnne

Save your money on the Pur palette. Lots of fallout, only some of the shades have good pigmentation. I got this in last month’s Boxycharm. Go for a BH Cosmetics palette on the Ulta site, which you don’t even need a coupon for because they’re so cheap – or if you must use your 20% on a prestige palette item, maybe go with Tarte or Urban Decay. I’ll never recommend Too Faced for the amount of fragrance plus their weird little company BS drama.

  • Ashley

If I were you, I’d pass on the juice infused lip oils. I noticed you posted the tinted one, which I have not tried. I got one of the original lip oils (cranberry pomegranate) as the birthday gift – they feel nice initially, but they don’t last long and ultimately they ended up making my lips feel drier and flaky!

    • Isabella Muse

Hi Ashley! I tried the original ones too and wasn’t impressed! Was hopeful the tinted ones would prove better!

  • diane

i went on Ulta today so spend my coupon and realized I don’t have a coupon. I’m Prestige and spend way too much on a regular basis. I e-mailed Customer Service so fast. Now, I wait. I have lots of points I want to play with! I think I’m gonna get the wrinkle attachment for my NuFace.
