Soap & Glory Speed Plump Overnight Moisture Mousse is one of those skincare products that I know is horrible for my skin but I still use it anyway because I LOVE how it makes me look. This contains quite a few ingredients you might wish to avoid such as mineral oil and citrus oils that can be sensitizing to skin. I do try to avoid citrus oil any chance I get but I find it difficult to do so as so many brands I like using have citrus oil in their ingredients. On the upside, it is lower on the list in this moisturizer.

Let’s take a peek!

Soap & Glory is soooooooooooooo fond of over marketing their skincare to death. They throw around all sorts of great phrases like “potent for your skin” and “Eases dullness, moisturizes dehydrated skin, contains active boosters”. I mean there marketing is outrageous and I doubt anyone is buying into it but it sure is fun.

Speed Plump Overnight Moisture Mousse is apparently an a mini overnight miracle. It’s a mousse textured moisturizer that provides intense hydration for dry, dull, dehydrated skin that promises to restore your glow overnight.

The texture is rather odd as it looks like they took the moisturizer and out it through one of those Play Doh Barber Shop molds. It has this stringy spaghetti-like texture that isn’t quite the whipped mousse consistency I expected. No worries though once you dab it on your face it becomes a normal smooth texture. It does have a strong, bright orange scent that I thought was pleasant but likely isn’t terribly good for my skin.

It’s surprisingly slick and quite hydrating but absorbs easily. At first application I felt like it was going to make me oily but once it absorbs it just leaves behind a very soft, hydrated surface. I’m amazed at how well it hydrates.

It is a night cream so I typically use it as the last step in my routine. I actually don’t use it as a regular night cream since it isn’t exactly a powerhouse anti-aging moisturizer but I do use it when my skin needs a pick up since it produces visible results overnight.

I have pretty dull skin. It just lacks any glow if I don’t wear a bit of foundation and blush. This really makes my face look brighter and happier in the AM. I would’t say it restored my glow but it did make my skin look less dry, dehydrated, and lackluster. It gave me that “I just washed my face” fresh face look.

If you need a little pick me up and you don’t have sensitive skin I would recommend checking out Soap & Glory Speed Plump Overnight Moisture Mousse. It’s not something I’d recommend for daily nightly use but I would say it’s a nice little treat to use once or twice a week if your skin is a little dull and tired looking!

Do like!

Every try it?

I will be getting this! Thanks Muse! Although I do have sort of sensitive skin issues too. Once years ago I tried Olay Regenerist that most women were cheering for and it left my cheeks red and a burn spot under my left eye! It hasn’t disappeared than goodness it is very small. But yeah! I’m so afraid to try aha, glycolic and all those good skin eating monsters. Lol! I use aha 0.05 for melea flare ups under chin and lower face but that amount is ok. It really helps!

Have fun on your trip and buy/try tons of makeup to tell us . 🙂

My pleasure! But beware if you’re sensitive as it does contain citrus oil! Ugh I spent a bit too much money! GUILTY!
