About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hmmm indeed. I got an email about this last week and yes, in theory, it sounds fantastic but will it really work? Are you going to review it?

I do question if it will work that well as it seems like a simple setting powder! But I tend to not doubt UD as remember how great deslick in a tube was?!

This could be the bomb if it works. I’m thinking about the middle of summer here when we have monsoon humidity and it’s 115 degrees. And no matter how I prep and prime, the sweat just pops through. Yuck! But there’s no way around it, it’s so hot. This might be a solution over a tinted primer or moisturizer. Gotta keep an eye on the reviews for this one.

Hide inside in the a/c a lot!! You learn little tricks like freezing a bottle of water to take with you when you run errands. If you’re out and about for any length of time, your solidly frozen water melts very, very quickly so it’s drinkable shortly after you put it in the car. SPF 50 umbrella. Wish I was joking. Grocery shopping at night so the sun doesn’t give you a stroke while you’re loading your groceries into the car. Run from your car into the building as quickly as possible. Outdoor activity? Hahahaha! Just no. The worst part is…it NEVER cools off at night. Rarely does it go below 110 at night so you never even get a few minutes of cool in the morning. It’s seriously freaking miserable, which is why we’re looking to move.

jesus that sounds horrible. Leesha from xsparkage once said her flip flops stuck to the concrete and I was sitting there like STFU!

very true… even the asphalt on the road melt .. I have run in to Leesha a few times at Ulta…she is a sweetheart.

that is insane lol! I mean it gets crazy hot in New York! Perhaps hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk but you won’t have issues with the asphalt melting haha! Leesha is great, I’ve been following her since spectra days 😀

I am kind of curious to try… Here in Phoenix our temps are climbing and our monsoon season will be starting soon. With temps above 110 & humidity above 50% for 2 months….lets put it to the test…. I think the Arizona temps and humidity will win.
