Feminine care products are something I whisper about. I don’t technically discuss it with anyone, I don’t go to the drugstore and ask where I can find them, and I definitely hide them under the bread when I’m at the supermarket purchasing them.
It’s not a case of being embarrassed because I am woman, hear me RAWR but I’m kind of a private person so I’m normally not one for flashing around these items.
It’s Voldemort-like in a kinda “Product who must not be named” way.
That’s why I’m not sure I want to flash around or store anything in my bathroom that has a big splashed label on the front that reads “I Love My Muff”.

When I was a kid I def had some scary brows going on! I think it was freshman year when I finally hit the tweezers and decided they really needed to be tamed. I’m a woman now and needless to say I keep them as groomed as humanly possible because those bad boys grow like weeds and get a bit scary unibrow-ish if left alone too long.
However, at a tender age my mother NEVER ever decided that it was time to take me to the salon and have my brows waxed!
Take a look, I seen this on Bella Sugar and my mouth was literally hanging open!
This is absolutely appalling. Worst still is the fact that the mother explains the child already had a bad waxing experience and knowing the little girl’s terror decided it was a-ok to do it anyway! The girl proceeds to run and hug her mother after it’s done, I think she should be RUNNING away from her.
Seriously, child services needs to intervene here, some people just don’t deserve to be a mother! By the way the salon that’s doing this and the technician are equally guilty. I’d have said absolutely no if someone walked into my shop asking to wax my young daughter’s brows! Seriously?!

Thanks to reader Florence for this post who kindly pointed out that one of her lipsticks smelled like…ahem…pee. I haven’t run into that variety of lipstick myself to be honest but lord knows I’ve run across my fair share of cosmetics, skincare, and beauty bits and bobs that do STINK!
I’ve had people tell me that Lush Face Masks smell like….well…perhaps I shouldn’t say that one out loud.
Now I’m talking about rancid, nasty smells here because I know some of you think that cherry flavored and scented lip gloss is the devil’s work. I personally love lipgloss or lipsticks that are flavored and scented nicely…..so I asking you about some really gross, disgusting smelling stuff here and it isn’t cherry honey!
The award for worst offender for me in the smelly category goes to…

Hell I even read on the Internetz that Cleopatra used sperm in her facial cream and even bathed in it….god I love the Internet for creating incredibly crazy stuff up, don’t you? Cosmo’s Sexy Beauty Secrets Blog even reveals a sperm facial is a fantastic experience…..I will not say anything cheeky, I will not say anything cheeky…Going rate for a Sperm Facial? A whopping $250 bucks but mind you the article was published in 2009 so do you think the sperm facials have went up considerably due to the recession? Gasp, maybe it’s $350 now! Damn inflation
Yeah well the fact of the matter is there are 100′s of articles in and around the Internet that say spunk in your junk is actually really great for your skin…..
