Confirmation this morning my earlier news about Katie Holmes teaming up with Bobbi Brown.
Today, Thursday, September 6th, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics proudly announced that American actress Katie Holmes has partnered with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics as the brand’s first-ever celebrity face.
“Katie Holmes epitomizes the modern ‘Bobbi woman’… I think of her as the modern day Ali McGraw, who I have always admired,” says Bobbi Brown, “Katie is a classic natural beauty, entrepreneur, and mother. When I met her, I thought she was a natural fit for my brand, and felt an instant connection with her.”
“Bobbi is exceptional and Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is a company that we, as women, all turn to because it is makeup that is very accessible and makes you feel pretty,” says Holmes, “Sometimes it is just a lipstick or a blush that makes you feel like you can do what you need to do. Makeup is powerful and I am thrilled to be a part of this brand.”

The writing is on the wall but is it true? According to WWD, Katie Holmes may just be the newest and first ever spokesperson and model for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics.
I think Katie embodies the brand very well as Bobbi Brown has always favored wholesome, down to earth, girl next door models for her looks and campaigns. Who better than the ultimate girl next door, Katie Holmes, to represent the brand?
What do you think?
Do like the idea?
Someone else you would have went with?

by Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashianthat I told you about earlier this Summer will be hitting CVS stores late December into the year year.
Interestingly enough I didn’t expect this to be a CVS launch but seems like the chain is picking up celebs for all sorts of interesting launches like, case in point, Nuance by Salma Hayek.

Victoria’s Secret Nakeds Palette doesn’t not evoke my idea of naked, natural shades in all honesty. I said as much in my review. Now if I really wanted to define the naked, natural eye look that award, in my opinion, would go to Urban Decay with their Naked Palette.
However, according to many news sources including dispatch.com, Urban Decay has filed a compliant against Victoria’s Secret for being, well naked.
Scentportables Refills are now available in single discs for $3 each. Prior to this Bath & Body Works only offered the discs in a single pack or as a single purchase along with a Scentportable.
Scentportables are now sold empty for $4 each.
I’m trying to remember how much the Scentportable unit was originally with a refill. As it seems a little pricy having to spend $4 on the unit plus an additional $3 for the disc.
