Beauty Bits & Bobs
It always boggles my mind that folks don’t like scented skincare or lipgloss, etc…I’m not sensitive to these types of thing and absolutely love if my facial moisturizer is scented like strawberries or a banana split, obviously not but you’re getting the picture right?
But some things probably shouldn’t be scented….
Do not want scented SPF.
With the release of Deathly Hallows Part 2 come July we finally, with a heavy heart, get to lay our obsession with Harry Potter to rest.
Memo to self:
Bring tissues to premiere.
As we say our final good byes we also get to embrace the growth and maturity of stars like Emma Watson because let’s face it, Emma is here for the long run and we’ll be witness to her climb into Hollywood legend ever after the madness of HP has died down.
Emma recently got down to work for her Lancome ad campaign that I leaked to you a few months ago with famed fashion photographer Mario Testino in March in Paris.
This was actually the same day Lancome officially launched Emma Watson as one of their newest faces.
Dr. Jart recently launched two BB Creams to the US Market available exclusively at Sephora. This is a big step for the US market however sadly, my experience so far with BB Creams here in the US is lacking.
Dr. Jart, BRTC, Missha, Skin79, etc…are all popular BB Creams available in Korea and household names however larger brands we all know and love also have BB Creams available within the Asian market such as Dior, MAC, Lancome, etc….
This Summer, I believe you’ll start seeing the ripple effect of Dr. Jart’s US launch. It’ll be small at first but by Fall, BB Creams will finally be something that the US market will know of and hopefully embrace.
I already have confirmed news that Smashbox has a BB Cream of sorts that will be available exclusively from QVC. I also hear rumors of MAC finally bringing their BB Cream to the states and also a whisper about Clinique possibly launching one.
My question is, which brand would you like to see release a BB Cream here in the US?
Perhaps your favorite high end brands like Dior and Chanel?
Or maybe middle end brands such as Urban Decay or Too Faced?
Or maybe you want to hit up your local drugstore and grab one from Revlon or Covergirl?
Either way BB Creams are finally launching here in the US but whether or not our market actually embraces them or not only time will tell.
I admit it, I’m addicted to fine fragrances. Scent has the power to awaken the most wonderful feelings and memories. A spritz here and there can evoke feelings of happiness, cheer, and even excitement.
But did you ever think that maybe the traditional application methods such as a spritzing or misting would be replaced by consuming your fragrance?
Yes, like literally eating it.
Beauty Most Unusual?
Just wanted to say I’m trying hard to reply to a back log of comments but I’ve been really busy the past week. I find it hard to get to old comments since new ones push ahead of them. I’m months behind and I’ll be approving a ton of them today but won’t necessarily be replying personally…it’s a tad overwhelming…..I’ll def try my best to reply to questions that are asked and if for some reason I miss something by all means post it again! I think it’s easier to approve the old ones and start fresh hehe!
I value every single thing you say on here and I thank you for all your comments. It’s just that I get a tad overwhelmed running the site myself so it’s hard to get to them all in a timely manner sometimes.
The same goes for E-mails. E-mails are REALLY backed up! If you have anything in particularly you need please do comment and I’ll probably reply faster!
I’m also behind on Tweets, I haven’t logged in recently so I imagine my timeline is out of control!
Again, thanks for all your communication. E-mails, comments, tweets..they are all the highest form of flattery for bloggers!
Happy Weekend by the way!
