Avon True Color Eyeshadow Duo in Sunkissed
Avon recently introduced two new limited edition True Color Eyeshadow Duo Palettes with their Fiji Paradise Summer 2013 Collection. I picked up the color Sunkissed with a recent Avon order I did because it had a very pretty corally peach shade in it. The other shade Luscious Orchid is a purple and brown combo which I skipped out on.
I don’t technically like Avon Eyeshadow particularly their quads and duo palettes. Creams, powders…I’ve never really had a successful run with Avon Eyeshadow unfortunately. But sometimes my love of peach leads me into a purchase and in this case I decided hey, maybe the True Color Eyeshadow Duo would be better than the quads I’ve tried in the past.
Let’s fine out if it was.
Good news for the piggy fans out there as Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Pure Pigment Eyeshadow are launching for Fall 2013. Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigment Eyeshadow will prove a unique product for the drugstore market as I can probably name, on one hand, the brands that offer such a product.
Granted, the online world is filled with pigment eyeshadow options in an array of gorgeous colors but not many brands at your local drugstore are offering them are they? Color Tattoo Pure Pigment Eyeshadow ($7.99) will definitely be a big pull for the drugstore beauty babes out there. L’Oreal was the last brand to do HIP Pigments if anyone remembers those and I believe NYX still offers their loose pigments but outside of that I can’t think of many brands doing a similar product at the moment.

Maybelline Precious Pearl Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow is one of several new Color Tattoo Eyeshadows released this Summer that will be available for a limited time at drugstores.
I have to admit compared to the Fall 2013 shades these Summer colors were a vast disappointment. I felt like the formula wasn’t even on par with the original formula.
Precious Pearl is actually one of two new shades of frosty white that Maybelline launched. The other shade, Waves of White, is more of a duochrome shade which reflected blue. With Precious Pearl you’ll get more of a cooler, frostier white.

If you’ve been busy Target shopping you know the new Sonia Kashuk Monochrome Eye Quad Eyeshadow Palettes are on shelves now. These are a revamp of the original Sonia Kashuk Eye Quad and might I say a great improvement.
For Spring 2013 these were released in four color variations. What makes them so special is the fact they contain a range of different finishes inside a single quad. It’s an unexpected treat to have such a smaller quad that caters to a variety of eyeshadow textures and finishes.

Etude House Dear My Blooming Eyes Eyeshadow Palette is a somewhat shadow palette introduced with the My Blooming Collection. I said somewhat because Etude House has variations of this palette across the board so it could prove a little uneventful to you if you own a lot of the brand’s offerings.
