Lancome Color Design Infinite 24H Review & Swatches

This was provided to me by a brand for review but all opinions expressed are my own

Lancome Color Design Infinite 24H ($24.50) is a new range of luminous eye color that Lancome recently introduced. In some aspects this shadow formula is much like Lancome Ombre Magnetique Eyeshadow. However, Ombre Magnetique has always been a limited edition formula so if you love them and always wanted a larger variety of color, Lancome Color Design Infinite might interest you.

Take a look!

These shadows are available in fifteen colors from warm to cool, bold to natural, whatever your palette’s taste you’re bound to fine at least one shade to love in this collection.

This is a luminous eye color that promises a 24 hour wear without creasing. It has a unique creamy powder texture much like L’Oreal Infallible eyeshadow however, the pigmentation is much more intense and the colors have a more refined, smoother finish on lids. I feel like these lack the frost that products like Infallible Eyeshadow sometimes have. They quite remind me of a loosely packed pigment of sorts but the smoother texture feels almost like a cream. Although a looser shadow texture they have no issues with fall out and apply full intense color on a stroke across lids. The texture of the shadows have a certain spongy quality. The color pay off is very intense and results in a smooth, even application across lids with a very long lasting formula.

Mind you, I wouldn’t say 24 hours of wear but you can def get through a day and well into your night without a worry about creasing or fading. Color stays very true without fading as the day progresses.

Although there are many dupes available of these shadows, some expensive, some budget, I would like to say that Lancome has pegged the formula beautifully. They lack the frostiness I sometimes associate with this style of pressed shadow, they have no issues with creasing or fading, they apply with absolutely no fall out, and produce an intense color rich shadow on lids. I think there are some faults with other shadows I tried in this formula style but Lancome did well with Color Design Infinite. I see no issues with the formulation and was very impressed with the application, performance, and pigmentation.

Loves.

I LOVE THESE!! I bought a few of them a couple of months ago when Lancome was doing their free gift. And now I want all of them! And they really do last. I did a few swatches on my hand before bed one night. The next morning the metallic finish was gone, but the color was still as vibrant as the night before!

they look sooooo pretty! I don’t need a single eyeshadow more, yet it appears I’ll be getting some of these!

And what shade exactly is the blue one? Definitely caught my eye and I can’t find it on the website!

hi ladymoonlight if you roll over the image you can see the name ;-D it’s not blue, it’s purple, shade name endless purple 😀

oh, how dumb of me. I’ve recently dyed my hair blonde, which explains a lot. Thank you very much! Blue or purple very pretty either way!

Oh, awesome! I love the Infallibles in many ways, but they can be too frosty like you said. Sounds like this is them only better! 🙂

These are EXACTLY like the L’oreal Infallible eyeshadows, I tested it
in the store same texture and everything. I would go with the L’oreal
Infallible eyeshadows for $8-$9 compared to Lancome for $24.50, only pro
with Lancome they have a variety of vibrant colors.

If you consider that there are over forty Infallible shades internationally…even the Lancome vibrant color pro doesn’t seem like enough of a pro to spend that kind of money. 🙂

That Lancome blue looks like an exact copy of the infallible in All Night Blue. I’d definitely rather buy more shades of the Infallibles and save the money (so I can buy some more Armani ETK shadows!)

Wow, these are so beautiful!! Love the swatches, these look like they’d be pretty together, too.
