I was born in the ahem…err…the 70′s. So technically my age of music fell into the 90′s as these were my teen/tween years but like most things in my life, my taste in music was and still is as unconventional as all hell. My sister was an 80′s child and from her I learned to appreciate some great one hit wonders from the early and late 80′s, this was music at it’s best. I was probably six when I developed my first crush on Robert Smith and it’s carried through many a year, thank you 1980′s.
Mind you Robert circa 1980′s was fantastic but not so much when you jump forward over 20 years….it’s ok though, I’ll take him anyway I can get him.
The new MAC Riveting Collection hits the shelf in a few weeks and brings about that retro 80′s glam feel for me with a bit of rock n’ roll thrown in for good measure.
Not everyone can pull off MAC Riveting but I imagine half of us are going to have a bloody great time trying.

Read More...God I love you Korres, have I told you that lately? Korres continues on it’s righteous path to affordable beauty nirvana with the new Korres Golden Goddess Collection. I think they need to rename these little kits to “Korres Snack Packs”. Remember when you were a kid and your mum would seal up some great snack in a ziplock bag? I mean seriously it was like gold when you unzipped it. It could have been stale Cheerios but that ziplock bag somehow made it special.
That’s Korres for ya. The line has really geared towards slapping together a bunch of great treats, stuffing it into a ziploc bag, and selling it for some crazy cool price. Of course as makeup junkies we all get hyper and excited to get more for less right?
You get more, alot more, for alot less with the new Korres Golden Goddess Collection.

Read More...Love Clover is a Japanese brand put out by B&C Laboratories, you know, those guys responsible for the Sony Black Head Stick.
Love Clover is actually quite a cute, girlish brand and I own a few bits and bobs from the line. I recently purchased the Love Clover Lip Dolce Cafe in the limited edition shade 5261.
