White Barn Christmas 2012 is a limited edition candle that Bath & Body Works released for Black Friday. Yeah, I know, what’s with all these sneaky little limited edition candle releases lately? First Pumpkin Carving now White Barn Christmas!
The fragrance is described as a way to celebrate the season with comfort and joy, a jubilant fragrance of sugared pine, sweet green balsam, crisp apple and smoked firewood.
Sadly, it’s disappeared from the site….! However, I’ve come across a variety of Evil-bay shops selling it (with free shipping) for as little as $10 so if you missed out on it you might want to snatch it up. I don’t really like it…! I’m not much for green, Christmas-y tree scents and this has all that.
I have to admit lately though I’m on this kick for anything mixed with apple and Holiday greens! Like Yankee Candle Apple Wreath is making my world go right round baby! Loves it.
Just thought I’d throw this up though for anyone who enjoys greener Holiday scents as you might have missed this or not known about it until this post.
Bare Minerals Simply Irresistible is a new 9 Piece Color Collection for Eyes, Lips, and Cheeks for Holiday 2012. If you’re more of a traditionalist and aren’t really loving all the Ready pressed products that BE has recently been releasing you’ll absolutely love this set.
This takes us back to Bare Minerals as we originally know them, their loose format. The Simply Irresistible set contains essentials for a complete holiday look (or two, or three…) for as little as $49. Quite the bargain! Plus it has a must have shade of blush that you can’t pass up on if you love Bare Minerals Fruit Cocktail.
I missed out on the announcement for the Lush Forum Fragrance Round for Holiday 2012. You can thank reader, Shirl, who commented about it otherwise I wouldn’t have known as I haven’t been on the Lush UK forum in a while!
A great way to start off my Body Shop Vanillas Bliss Lip Balm review is to tell you Led Zeppelin was on Letterman last night. Go on, you know you want to head to youTube and catch it if you haven’t. Seeing Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones as, well, as old men is a surreal experience sometimes. It’s something I’ll never get used too.
When I was a teenager my bedroom was peppered with Robert Plant posters, shirtless, hair wildly waving around his head, and that gorgeous smile on his face. He was such a beautiful boy and perhaps a little bit of a gateway drug into the universe of vintage rock for me. Zepplin, Blue Cheer, The Who, and so many others have followed me well into my adulthood. I’m not THAT old but I have to say, they just don’t make music like that any more….!
Speaking of classics! The Body Shop Vanilla Bliss Lip Balm may be my gateway drug into the world of the Vanilla Bliss Holiday 2012 Collection from the Body Shop and a possible instant classic!
Lush Twilight Shower Gel makes a reappearance for Holiday 2012. Yes, it’s back! It was released during an April Showers Party in 2011 but disappeared mighty fast.
But it’s back now and will be the perfect addition to the hot bath I plan on taking when I get home. I have the migraine from hades today and it isn’t going away. My solution for a bad headache? A warm bath with my favorite Lush product. I swear by a Lush bath to chase away migraines and bad headaches. And Twilight is the perfect scent too with a soothing, relaxing, comforting blend of lavender.
