Pixi Hydrating Milky Serum Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Pixi Hydrating Milky Serum7

Pixi Hydrating Milky Serum is one of the new Pixi Skintreats Skincare products that launched with Pixi’s Spring 2016 Collection. Pixi went all out for Spring with a launch of several brand new, permanent skincare launches that range from sleep masks to sleeping oils, cleansers, and beyond. It’s a rather extensive release that includes a lot of interesting skincare goodies. Considering Pixi has a had a good run with their Glow Tonic it only seems natural they venture deeper into the world of skincare.

I have to admit, much to my horror, one of the things that attracted me most to Pixi’s new skincare collection was the packaging. Really when it comes to skincare packaging shouldn’t matter as you just want something with solid ingredients forget the packaging…but I’m sorry, I just love the cute green bottles, they are so pretty. Ok, ’nuff said about my pretty packaging addiction.

Pixi Hydrating Milky Serum is a milky, lightweight serum that has a base of water and glycerin as well as jojoba oil and aloe vera. It promises to plump skin while hydrating it without the heavy feel of a facial oil. If you thought Josie Maran Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment you wouldn’t be alone as that’s one of the first things I thought when I saw this product.

Milk Makeup Sunshine Oil Review

I purchased this item and I receive a small commission if you shop using the links in this post.

Milk Makeup Sunshine Oil3

Milk Makeup Sunshine Oil ($38) is a new all over facial and body oil that comes housed in a rather chic, portable rollerball pen which makes it not only mess-free but handy for travel. I love facial oils as much as the next girl or guy and I have drier skin so I fit right into the hydration demographic for a product like this type of product.

I loved packaging on this so I decided to give it a try.

The Clean Reserve Discovery Layering Set4

The new Clean Reserve Fragrance Collection isn’t a cheaper range but it is one that’s looking very, very promising. And I have to met the best $22 I spent was on the Clean Reserve Discovery Layering Set as this was such a steal and not only let me try out ALL the Clean Reserve Fragrances but also allowed me to play mixologist and create endless unique creations by combining these nine fragrances.

What’s the Worst Eyeshadow You’ve Ever Used?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

worst eyeshadow

So what’s the worst eyeshadow you’ve ever used? Maybe it was too sheer or lacked pigment? Maybe it was dry and blended horribly!

Share some of your worst eyeshadow experiences.

My recent one is Revlon Not Just Nudes! Ugh these were horrible. Really dry, pretty sheer, and blended out so muddy! I can’t think of any one brand but five or so years ago I remember mattes being terribly dense, dry, and difficult to apply. Things have improved considerably in the matte world with much silkier formulas but a few years ago even higher end brands had really bad mattes.

How about you?

What’s the worst eyeshadow you’ve ever used?

Or even an eyeshadow palette that was just ALL bad, nothing redeeming about it…

Do share!
