ORIBE Bright Blond Sun Lightening Hair Mist is a new hair mist that creates controlled highlighting using heat from a hair dryer or the sun to gradually lighten hair. Can I tell you this is the fastest I’ve ever purchased a product? I used to use Sun-In when I was a tween and into my teen years. I LOVED what it did for my hair. Some people don’t realize this but my hair is dark brown, not black. When I used Sun-In my hair would develop these beautiful light brown highlights! It was really gorgeous.
Needless to say I’m hoping ORIBE Bright Blond Sun Lightening Hair Mist does the same for me. This is a hydrogen peroxide-free formula that uses natural plant, flower and fruit extracts to gradually lighten hair while delivering weightless moisture, shine and essential UV protection. A natural blend of lemon and chamomile add brightness and enhance highlights.
I actually air dry my long hair so I don’t think I’ll use it with a hair dryer but I’m fine with just misting it on and going. You apply it on damp hair and just head out for the day or you can blow dry your hair. It gradually brightens your hair the more you expose yourself to the sun or your hair dryer!
I know Sun-In was cheap as hell and worked a treat for me but ORIBE Bright Blond Sun Lightening Hair Mist is $38. If it works I honestly don’t mind the price! I’m a little worried it won’t work and I’ll end up with blind streaks or something! Funny as that was never a worry of mine when using Sun-In (I used to mist it madly all over my hair) but as we get older I guess we get more concerned with these things. I think the “bright blond” is what had me a little concerned haha…! I’ll proceed with caution and try it on a lock of my hair and maybe blow dry that one area before I commit to misting it all over my head. According to the details it can be used on blondes, strawberry blondes, and brunettes!
