Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara ($24) is the brand’s newest smoky mascara formula that they launched for the Fall 2013 season. As I recall the original Make Up For Ever Smoky Mascara didn’t really work for me so I was a little worried about the Smoky Extravagant Mascara but I kept hope alive for the greater good of makeup junkies everywhere who were still searching for that perfect dramatic mascara to complete their smoky eye looks!
Take a look see if this is it!
The Balm Voyage Holiday Face Palette is a new Holiday 2013 Palette that launches yesterday and I’ll review and swatch for you shortly. It includes a slew of lovely shadows in a variety of finishes as well as Lip and Cheek Creams.
And of course, really cool vintage Balm packaging!

The new L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara fluttered into my clutches earlier last week! Looks like L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara is starting to pop up in drugstores now as originally it had an early release at Walmart. I located mine at Harmons and recently saw a display at CVS as well.
Although I don’t have a great track record with L’Oreal Mascara I did want to check out Voluminous Butterfly Mascara for myself.
Here are my thoughts!
B-Leve B-luminous Facial Cleanser ($7.99) is a budget friendly cleanser that recently passed across my desk which I fell madly in love with. Who knew I’d be this in lust with such a simple facial cleanser?
B-Leve B-luminous Facial Cleanser removes makeup and dirt with natural grape extract allowing skin to retain moisture while providing a gentle cleansing experience.

MAC Cosmetics collaborates with Proenza Schouler for a Spring 2014 Collection that will feature Ombre Face Powders, Lipsticks, Pro Longwear Eye Liners and Lip Pencils, Nail Lacquers, and a 129SE Powder Brush. Inspired by one of Proenza Schouler’s past collections, the collaboration packaging will be extremely unique.
It launches in store and globally April 2014.
James Gager, Creative Director, Senior Vice President, M·A·C Cosmetics says, “I have always respected Jack and Lazaro’s keen vision and point of view. We’ve worked together backstage creating beauty looks for their runway shows for many years and it has been fascinating to me watching them evolve. They have a very particular perspective on their makeup look each season. It has been a great experience collaborating with them to bring their beauty vision off the runway to our customers.”
Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler says, “Beauty has always played a huge role in what we do on the runway and M·A·C has been one of our biggest supporters. We wanted to create something that the Proenza Schouler woman could relate to off the runway, and the M·A·C brand is so deeply rooted in fashion that we knew they would understand our vision.”
Did you ears perk up when I mentioned Ombre Face Powders? I thought Spring Forecast Blushes! I can’t WAIT to see what MAC has up their sleeves for this collection!
