Sephora Skin Perfect CC Cream SPF 20 ($26) recently launched in six shades. So if you’re one of those folks that might not fit into the self adjusting CC Cream range Sephora’s version will give you a few options for color.
You’ll see a harder push for CC Creams in drugstores come the Fall but right now Summer rules supreme for mid range and higher end brands that are hitting CC Creams hard. Although at the moment the CC Creams I have tried here in the US are nice enough I’m still really liking what I see from Asia and have come across a good deal of great options from our Korean brand friends.
Sephora’s CC Cream option comes as a surprise as I didn’t really expect them to embrace the trend so quickly. They, like many brands, have skipped completely over the BB Cream craze and just headed right into releasing a CC Cream. I was ever so slightly shocked at the $26 price tag I must admit and that rather low SPF 20.
Anyone watch Behind the Candelabra? Seriously so freaking fabulous. I watched it with my best friend Jai and his boyfriend Mattie and we seriously had a complete melt down while watching it. There were parts in there you just couldn’t help burst out laughing at. Rob Lowe? OMG! Funny!
Dustin Hunter reminded me how great it was with his hysterical video on youTube and I had to share!
It’s another weekend my dears!
And a hot one at that.
I’m away for the weekend so can’t wait to get out of here today. I’m behind on comments sorry! Been working out kinks on Musings. The maintenance on this site boggles my mind sometimes And with the latest Google Penguin update it seems to early to tell if I was on its radar! Sure hope not! Apparently, if you’re a webmaster or just a super search guru, site: is working again. Thank god for small favors. Although Webmaster Tools seems to be wacked out lately…
Yeah most people don’t care about that portion of beauty blogging
What’s new with you this week?
I feel behind talking to you all!
I wish you a very happy weekend!
More reviews are scheduled throughout the day but I may be slow replying if you have a comment or two as I’m working on broken links behind the scenes here but will do my best to say hey here and there because anything to get me AWAY from this task!
BRTC has released a Jasmine Waterful CC Cream SPF 50 to my absolute delight. BRTC Jasmine Waterful CC Cream launched recently in Korea and being a very big fan of BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream I thought it was a promising addition to my CC Cream Collection. At the moment, I must say I am really loving Asian CC Creams as they offer just the lightweight coverage I seek with the benefit of correcting but not necessarily overpowering me with too much coverage the way a proper BB Cream does.
I generally like lip stain and these were released in some popping shades of orange. So my two obsessions, orange and lip stain, combined together made them a tempting morsel indeed.
I know some folks dislike lip stain because they found it drying but I really love using it under my favorite MAC Lipglasses to amp them up a bit. Or on their own really as they are an easy way to get a bit of tint on my lips without having to haul out lipstick, gloss, etc….
Etude House Color Pop Shine Tint is all about the orange. Some of the shades are quite like what MAC has released in the All About Orange lipstick range only in a lip stain formula.
