Hey there! Who’s ready for the cold weather? I am! I have so many Fall and Winter rituals when the weather starts to get cooler. I find myself having more time to watch TV, I bake more (I’m learning and doing well!), I clean and organize a lot during the cooler weather, and I also tend to take care of myself more and spoil my skin and body. I take baths a lot more in the Winter! Not to get clean, weird I know but I never feel clean when I take a bath, but more as a way to unwind. Sinking into the bathtub and submerging myself in warm water listening to the crackle of the leaves as the wind brushes through them on a cold Fall or Winter’s night is one of the very best forms of relaxation in the world.

Walmart has entirely new section in their site with Mindful Beauty brands which feature clean, well though out ingredients that are good for your skin. Bite Beauty Holiday 2020 sadly, does not bring a new lipstick or a new lipstick set. I admit I let out a little sign of disappointment about that but they did sort of go all out with some of their Holiday 2020 Gift Sets even though they don’t contain any new lipsticks!

I do love when they do a mini lip set last year’s Creamy Color Mini Amuse Bouche Supercharged Lipstick Set was a particular great set for the brand! I loved the nude roses in this set and the formula seemed like it was a launch pad for the re-release of a new lipstick formula but as we all known that never happened!

For some odd reason or another hair has become a focus for me lately and is playing a major part in many of my self-care rituals! I’m not sure why I’ve become so obsessed with learning new hair styles or trying new shampoos and conditioners but here I am walking around with crown braids and doing deep conditioning masks after a long day at work. Don’t get me wrong I am still very much obsessed with makeup and skincare but hair seems like a new, exciting frontier.

My adventures led me to a new line of hair care called Hairitage that’s available at Walmart. I was asked to do a sponsored post by Walmart a few months ago and they asked me to check out some new brands and post what I thought. This actually worked out perfectly for me because I was all into hair and here was a new hair care brand to check out! I ordered a bunch of stuff online at on Walmart’s website but several weeks later I ended up hauling even more stuff because I just love this line so much!

I have to admit one of the things I love the most about it is the scent. Someone needs to tell them to do a perfume because I’d buy it. I’ve watched and read a few reviews that didn’t love the scent as they felt it was a more mature fragrance but as I’m a girl who loves scents like Lush Ginger this was so my jam! It’s difficult to explain how it smells but it’s sort of a fresh floral with a twang.

If you haven’t been to Walmart lately do stop by their Mindful Beauty section! They have a huge assortment of brands that feature clean ingredients and many new brands that are exclusive to Walmart. Several years ago “green, clean beauty”

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam II Eyeshadow Palette is a newbite size version of the original Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette that will be launching October 8th for Holiday 2020 priced at $29. The palette features six well loved shades from the original Soft Glam Palette and two shades from the Norvina Eyeshadow Palette. All six shades are full size but the palette itself is a more portable version of the original. Cute right? The Soft Glam Palette seemed like a terribly overrated launch just because it contains more nudes and neutrals but I think it’s a rather fab palette! Nice to see a little travel size version launching for Holiday 2020.

Along with the Soft Glam II Eyeshadow Palette we’ll be getting a Best of Allure Beauty Winner Lash Brag Mascara Mini Ornament ($13) and a four piece Mini Gloss for $28.

I think it’s a refreshing change from all the larger palette launches that ABS has been releasing lately but sadly, not a must if you already own the larger Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette. I love the idea of having a travel-size version but I’m not really going many places lately so, it’s sort of a bust for me.

I’m not writing ABS out of the Holiday 2020 Makeup world just yet though! I have a feeling they’ll surprise us with something more as we get closer to the Holidays! Or they may just stick with gifting us with some vaults!

It does feel like brands are holding off a little maybe this year and releasing things in little spurts here and there!
