Bare Escentuals Lippies Set

Bare Escentuals came out with this really awesome set of lippes about a year ago. That’s the perfect word for them really, lippies, because I don’t really know what else to call them! They aren’t a lipstick and they aren’t a gloss and they aren’t even a cross between the two! They have a category all their own I suppose.

The formula on these is a waxy balm that goes on smoothly, evenly, and offers great moisturize but that’s not the best part. The best part is the color! These are tinted with some of the nicest, most natural colors I’ve ever come across!

My favorite in the lot of two is Barely Berry which literally gives you the perfect “rosebud” pout! I adore this color and it looks so natural and fresh on me! My lips aren’t particularly gorgeous minus gloss and stain so I’m always slathering something on to make them look pretty. On the days I don’t feel like a buncha of gloss, lipstick or stain I use Barely Berry to make my lips look beautifully fresh!

I’m really, really impressed with these and I’m sad to say that they appear to be no longer available! However, if you are interested I have seen them pop up on E-bay!

The second color the set came with is Barely Sorbert which is a natural peach color. This isn’t my favorite of the lot but it is a beautiful very sweet peach color that would be flattering on anyone that carries a more nude color to their lips!

Both are really great products and of course, utterly and totally Muse Approved!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
