Smashbox Blowout Sale

I could have predicted that the Smashbox Tokidoki Collection would someday end up on clearance. It deserves to be mentioned that the Muse happens to love Tokidoki and indulged in the collection when it popped up last year however after trying it out all of it went back save the all over powder blush and brush! It was utter and complete rubbish! A really great waste of cash!

However, if you happen to lem it you can nab it now on sale from Smashbox and a few other bits and bobs are available to satisfy your need for savings!

Tokidoki Lipgloss $13.50 USD

Tokodoki Eyeshadow Quads $22.50 USD

Vanity Brush Set $112 USD (Did I mention this is on my Wish List?)

Smokebox Palette $28.50 USD

And much, much more available at the Smashbox website! Click on over!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

I bought the Smashbox try-me kit and I have never been more disppointed in make-up… Not my cup of tea. Do you use any of their products regulary? I can’t remember if I ave seen you wearing any Smashbox stuff. What do yu think of their make up? Muse approved?

  • the Muse

smashbox is a big time disappointment love. I agree 100%! Definitely NOT muse approved 😉

I use a blush here and there and a gloss maybe but my collection is tiny. Although I do swear by the cake liner (not the gel one) I find it better than MAC FL!

I brought the tokidoki collection b/c I adore tokidoki so much but it’s utter rubbish and got returned super fast 😉

So I’m totally on your side! Most of the products are not that fabulous and overpriced as well in my humblest 😉

What are you normally a user of sminkan? I know you use alot of minerals but are you a mac fan? piggie fan?

I am a budget-girl! I use everything, almost, and have no favourite brand. I am not a MAC-girl, but I do own a couple of Paint Pots, a palette or two, a lot of pigment samples and maybe something more. I have a lot of the swedish brands FACE Stockholm and Make Up Store, I use some Lancome, some Urban Decay and I have plenty of Fyrinnae, EM and MAD Minerals. I love Tigi Bedhead Cosmetics. I am totally unfaithful and love trying out new and interesting make up no matter what logo is on them.
And I don’t care about packaging either! You would hate my make-up stash! It is all ugly little plastic jars! 😀

  • Titty

Hey Muse! I agree that Smashbox sometimes disappoints, but I also jumped on the Tokidoki purses/clothing/toys (still am) so it was the perfect opportunity with this curtain call.

I got the Tokidoki lipglosses, and the “artificial light.” Adore them! 🙂

    Hey Sminkan!

Nothing at all wrong with being a budget girl 🙂 I sometimes wish I was more of a budget girl myself!

I didn’t even know Tigi made cosmetics? I don’t think we have that! Only the haircare! My god you got me looking online now hehe!

LOL!!!!!!!!! I really care about packaging can you tell? *blush*

I heart you sminkan 🙂 you’re a no nonsense kinda girl that has the heart of an MA and the skills 😉

  • the Muse

Titty how are you love? Been ages since you commented!

I jump all over Tokidoki myself.

I sadly returned my entire lot of the Tokidoki bits soon after they came out b/c it was just too sheer and not so great 😛 Even though it had the emblem I was still not loving it but I must say it’s a perfectly great buy at the moment!

Glad you hauled some of it!

I am not sure Tigi still has the cosmetic line, but some of it is still available at Lookfantastic. com, I think. I got myself a full train case when they launched the line, as a free gift. I was still doing some odd jobs then, but now I am not. Still have a lot of it left. Love the eye-stuff and the blushes, hate the foundations and have a good relatonship to the gloss and lipsticks. 😉

You should try the eyeshadows and the pencils if you find them. Very nice!

  • the Muse

    hey sminkan 😉

I looked around and I seen a few places that have the line! The colors on the shadows look fab. btw that website is evil! It has all sorts of lovely stuff 😉

I was loving the colors of the shadows for sure but didn’t run across anything else in the line! Ebay has a few items and also a small shop online had some!

It must be exclusive to eur b/c we don’t have this in the US as far as I know just the haircare line!

Thanks for the tip off 😉
