Product Musings: Illamasqua Lipstick in Test

Oh hai matte, nude, natural pink lipstick from Illamasqua.

Care to muse it with me?

Check it below!

Not loving my new shade of Illamasqua in Test as I’m not much a nude girl but I’m positive a slew of people will jump on board with this one. It’s a creamy, pink beige shade that’s completely mod chic. Loving the formula as it’s super pigmented and moisturizing.

If nude is your game this should please especially for Fall! Although I’m not too keen on this particularly shade I headed onto Sephora and ordered two more shades as I’m digging the formula. I snagged Tramp and Over. Eager to get ’em and try out. Full review coming shortly!

Love nude shades of lippies?

What are your favs?

Tried out Illamasqua Lipstick yet?

What do you think?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I never tried Illamasqua lipsticks. I find no shade attractive enough. :/

aw sorry to hear renata…I guess the shades aren’t all user friendly 😛

I bought this the other day, my first illamasqua lipstick. And i ADORE it..
I think i just realize my affinity towards matte lipstick, just because they are more pigmented, especially for nude lipsticks.
I think its because my lips are very pigmented, and most lipstick just dont turn out as the colour that i want them to be.
So this is perfect, it does feels dry though, but its fine if i top it off with a hydrating lip gloss. Also, i think this lipstick is a nice dupe for Tom Ford lipstick in Pink Dusk, which i was thinking of getting. The pigmentation is about the same, TF is definitely creamier, but i guess this one has less slip and a lot cheaper. =)
Another of my favourite nude lipstick is by Make Up Store called Invisible, which is bit darker and less pink than Creme d’nude by MAC. It doesnt wash me out, and it suits my asian yellow-ish skintone very well.

    xx

I’ve been debating about buying their lipstick for half a year now! Ever since I saw it on Sephora’s site I’ve been tempted b/c I think a lot of the colors would flatter my complexion but I would prefer to swatch them in store first but my local Sephora doesn’t carry this brand in store so yeah…meh!
