Stila Holiday 2009: Stila Lip Glaze Collection Review and Swatches
Since our economy tanked I’ve noticed I’m totally spoiled with spending less and getting more lately. The cosmetic deals in general are completely killer lately aren’t they? Everyone and their mum is packing up awesome steals and deals and slapping a super cheap price tag on it. The Muse finds herself looking at items and randomly shouting SOLD! really loudly when she sees a cool deal…ok, I don’t really shout it out loud but I’m normally very close to doing it.
This year Stila happens to give us more for less with it’s new Lip Glaze Collection for 2009. This is $25 bucks and includes 8 Stila Lip Glazes…can you say total cheapness?

Jump ahead for the deets!
Last year the Stila Lip Glaze Collection was $28 dollars and you got six mini Lip Glazes. This year Stila cuts the price plus gives you two more glosses. What more could a Muse want?

The glosses are 0.03oz in size and contain four best selling shades and four brand new shades. Personally the size of each gloss is plenty for multiply uses plus you’re getting a whole lot of variety for your buck. These have a click style applicator with a lip brush applicator for mess free application. Shades range in finish so you get a little of everything including mattes, shimmers, pearls, etc…..I’ve always been a bit Stila Lip Glaze fan and generally enjoy the formula. It’s not sticky, has a nice glossy sheen, and can be built up for sheer or heavier color pay off.
Here’s the shades you’ll get in this set:
Old Favs
- Starfruit (neutral pink with subtle white pearl)
- Kitten (caramel with golden pearl)
- Cranberry (deep red)
- Blackberry (deep warm red brown)
New Shades
- Marmalade (sheer peach with pink and white pearl )
- Pinkle Twinkle (sheer pink with pink and multicolor sparkle)
- Plum Fairy (sheer plum with pink pearl)
- Candy (sheer pinky coral with subtle rainbow sparkle)
It’s inexpensive price tag, variety, and solid formula makes this year’s edition of the Stila Lip Glaze Collection a must have in my opinion. $25 for 8 glosses? Ok, I’ll take ’em! Plus with Sephora Friends and Family right around the corner that’s $20 bucks for 8 glosses!
