Lush Holiday Bubble Bar Review

The Muse knows how many people ADORE the Christmas Holiday but mostly the Muse is a Halloween type of girl, can’t beat goblins, ghouls, and candy….but there is one good reason to adore Christmas, that would be the Lush Holiday Bubble Bar.

Lush Holiday Bubble Bar 1

Golly, this Muse surely does recall when it was named Ruby Red Slippers, why they changed the name is beyond her but thankfully the scent and style of the bar remains the same.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year so long as a Lush Holiday Bar or two is gracing my bath.

What is it?

It’s a glittering brilliant red bubble bar that carries a spicy blend of carnation, rose, and tangerine or if you’re a Lush fan you know it smells much like Potion Lotion. It’s a festive bar but it’s worthy to haul for the year round as it’ll make you bath a sexy place to be with it’s seductive, warm fragrance.

How do you use it?

Take it, crush it, and run the crumbles under some warm bath water.

What do you get?

Mounds of fluffy bubbles, sparkling red bath water, and the beautiful scent of spicy carnations rounded up with hints of rose and a dash of tangerine.

The Muse waits for this one ever year and when it finally arrives she grabs a few to last her year round so she can have the Holiday in her bath no matter what day it is.

Loves it!

The Lush Holiday Bubble Bar is a total Muse Approval for purchase. Simply put, it’s gorgeous.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I bought this, but I’ve been scared to use it. I imagined myself being covered in red glitter…

    • the Muse

surprisingly no problems with that andrea 😀 it just turns the bath water red but no crazy glitter 😀

  • BeautyBitch

I didn’t get this (don’t have a tub: boo!) but I DID pick up a massive bottle of Snow Fairy shower gel. Unfortunately in Korea, Lush tends to release Xmas products in gift boxes and sets which don’t suit me but luckily Snow Fairy is available solo. I believe you’re also a fan?

    • the Muse

GO BORA! Snow fairy is the lovelyyyyyyyyy! 😀 really? no solos? not cool 😛 blah! I hate some of the sets myself as they’ll include some gorg stuff and suddenly put a big blue or something gross in with it and I’ll just avoid buying b/c of the one item I hate!

I’m a HUGE fan of snow fairy! HUGE!

  • Samantha

I’m not a big fan of Lush. The salespeople are TOO pushy!!

Also, I’m a new reader of your blog (referred by Cosmetic Candy) and I LOVE it. Thanks for all the great posts and keep it up 🙂

    • the Muse

same problem here with BBW Samantha! grrrr HATE THAT!

yay for new readers! 😀 so good to meet you! *hugs* thank YOU for visiting and leaving such lovely comments!

  • Paloma

That looks amazing…unfortunately I haven’t been able to try anything by LUSH 🙁

Unfortunately, I am low on funds and have no job…I make extra money on ChaCha, but it’s definitely not enough.

        • the Muse

awww I’m sorry to hear it Paloma! It’s a crazy economy at this point darlin’! Keep your head high 😀 and when all else fails SWAP! hehe! MUA is a great source for getting rid of stuff you hate and getting new goodies to play with 🙂

  • neonpinksapphire

I know this will be available during the forum party but do you know if they release the retro items for the holidays a little further down the road or can you ONLY get them during the forum chat party?

    • the Muse

from what I understand it’s available for order during the party but not after neon. Hope this helps!
