mark Mist Opportunity Review

Hey peeps!

What’s up? It’s terribly cold and rainy today in New York. I swear Fall just left us quite suddenly and I do believe it’s kinda full on winter. The rain feels like little drops of ice, yak! Not a fun feeling but that’s New York, Winter is our specialty.

This is the time of the year when my skin begins to resemble a raisin in the sun so I really need to do double duty with the prepping and priming and moisturizing, etc…etc…On that note I thought I’d interest you in a little find from mark.

I hear you guys when you talk and I know you’d like to see a few cheaper reviews thrown in here and there. I do realize when I review cheaper stuff it’s always not a raving review because the Muse does so believe you get what you pay for. But on occasion cool stuff slips into my grasp that doesn’t cost me alot and does work.

mark Mist Opportunity would be such an item!

So I generally like mark. Actually…thinking about it…I like mark more than Avon in most cases. It’s kinda a hippier, funkier, funnier line isn’t it?

So what is Mist Opportunity? It’s an opportunity you missed…oh wait, wait…sorry I meant MIST….

It’s an all around skin pick me up! Think Shu Uemura Deep Sea Water, think Evian Mineral Water Spray…but think cheap. Let’s say, 8 bucks for a near 7 oz bottle. Sweet right?

This is ideal for prepping and priming skin prior to moisturizing as it’ll create a good surface for your lotions and potions to absorb, or use it for a quickie pick me up during the day, or use it to set your makeup, or use it because your skin is a tad too oily for moisturizer yet it does need a little bit of hydration to get you through the day….the possibilities are endless.

It contains extracts of kiwi, lemongrass, and grapefruit which I automatically assumed would make it smell nice but no such luck. The smell is kinda yuck-o, bit plastic-like but nothing to dramatic and honestly my Shu doesn’t smell much better so I’m not complaining. The best part about it? It contains Glycerin so my face feels nicely moist after use.

I’m thinking at $8 bucks I can ditch my Shu Deep Sea Water at $24 and call it a day.

Likey, very much. A great alternative if you want to cheap up your misting techniques, don’t mist the opportunity to grab some from mark.

Anyone try?

Likey?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I swear I never get any work done while at the office, I’m constantly browsing through your reviews, they are absolutely fabulous and keep me grinning! Is this product comparable to MAC’s Fix + or Urban Decay’s setting sprays? Thanks!

aw thanks so flattering Jenniet ;-D not really, I never have much success with setting sprays ;P this isn’t too comparable to UD’s or MAC’s but it’s decent for extra hydration.

i’m a new mark/avon rep and i want to try this. i’m looking for more of a setting spray though so maybe i should use the MAC fix + for that
