Brocato Peppermint Scrub Fresh Hair And Scalp Leave In Tonic

Dude, whenever I think of hair tonic I think of The Outsiders. Those boys had some serious gel’ed up, tonic’ed up hair going on. They had so much grease in their hair you could prob light a match under it and cook up some bacon and eggs!

So of course when I got Brocato Peppermint Scrub Fresh Hair And Scalp Leave In Tonic I was all oh no you didn’t! No ways am I putting tonic in these locks! I just naturally associate it with build up, grease, oil, and oh yes, The Outsiders!

But now I’m kinda obsessed with this stuff. I blame the peppermint, I just can’t say no to anything that’s minty fresh!

Jump!

Brocato Peppermint Scrub Fresh Hair & Scalp Leave-In Tonic is a aromatic lightweight watery tonic which rejuvenates your scalp. Basically after application you get that cool, tingly ZING and your scalp starts to whistle a little melody, for serious.

It’s actually a tonic used to clarify hair when it’s looking dull, tired, or weighted down as it promises to awaken your scalp and hair frolics, prob all that peppermint does the work!

I dunno about clarifying but it gives my hair a nice little pick me up and is oh so refreshing. It has a sweet peppermint scent which feels cooling on your head. I use it as a pick me up in the evening on dry hair. I simply squirt a small amount in my hands and run through my hair or I use the needle nose applicator to dab a little on my scalp and proceed to massage in.

I haven’t noticed any amazing results from it as of yet but it’s a nice pick me up when my hair is kinda feel the effects of a long day and I want it to look fresh and awake for evening wearin’ and tearin’.

It’s fairly cheap as I’ve run across it online for around $13 or less for a large bottle. Brocato Salons also carry the line.

Likey lots, kinda obsessed with it at the moment.

As I said I can’t say no to anything with cool mint in the mix!

I have used a similar one made by Biolage that was GOD AWFUL. It made my hair greasy even though it was supposed to help with oily scalp. Only Biolage product that I didn’t love. I may have to check this one out. Do you have oily hair?

oh no caroline sounds awful! EEP! Nope, dry hair here! I need all the moisture/hydration I can get. Not sure about the biolage one but this is pretty much watery and water-like consistency so it doesn’t weight down my hair at all 🙂
