I just wanted to take a little time out to babble about the new MAC Blush Ombre. These were really a stand out release for me and I thought they rightfully deserved their own post for a bit of a babble, some pictures, and swatches.

I dunno if it’s the interesting graduating design or how beautifully they apply but MAC Blush Ombre is a fav item released with the Spring Colour Forecast. I really, really loved these. Out of the four colors I think the only shade that didn’t leave a lasting impression was SpringShine but aside from that the other three stood out.
If you’re still in debates about your needs and wants from MAC Spring Colour Forecast I do highly suggest snagging at least one or two of these blushes. My eye is on the prize with Ripe Peach, it’s probably the best of the four in my humble opinion. Second runner up, believe it or not, is Vintage Grape. Sounds like a scary shade but it applies on my cheeks as a slightly warmed up pink, quite nice. Azalea Blossom is probably the most surprising of the bunch as first swatch it’s incredibly chalky but applied it’s a cool shade of beautiful pink. And lastly, SpringShine is a brown, bronze shade which didn’t stand out too much for me but I’m still glad to have it for pairing up with a bit of cheek stain for a warmer glow come Summer.
I do urge you to not go by swatches or swatching alone. Have an artist try some on your cheeks as I did notice the formula is not really something to warrant interest first swatch but once applied you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the beautiful glow each shade gives your cheeks and face. I feel like the shades are also very versatile as you can wear them in three separate ways. Use each side of the graduation for a darker or lighter blush or mix the two together to create an entirely new shade!
I’m loving these alot and think them worthy of a haul!
