LoTree Ruby Clear Cleansing Oil Review

Awww hey! What’s up chicklets?

I’ve had a very busy day and haven’t had a sec to say ‘ello, ‘ello to everyone. Sorries! I’m a bit behind on comments but I’m slowly rolling through them, promise to blather with you soon.

How was your weekend? Mine was pretty slow going due to the crummy weather. OMG it was like hurricane season in New York this weekend!

Went to see She’s Out of My League on Friday night and now sporting a serious crush on Jay Baruchel, how stupid cute is he? Also hit up Arlene’s Grocery Saturday Night, did brunch and shopping with my friends Sunday, and sat in front of the tube introducing my friend Martin to the joys of the Inbetweeners in the evening as they had a marathon on Sunday so I Tivo’ed up and rewatched all the episodes with Martin. I’m crushing hard on Blake Harrison, I swear that kid’s idiot routine is brilliance on a stick, you NEED to watch this show if you aren’t already.

Anyway…I also recently discovered that Lotree, my fav Korean brand, is being sold on Sasa. It’s such a great excuse to haul out some of my stash and review for you!

Check out my Lotree Ruby Clear Cleansing Oil Review after the jump!

Loves this Lotree Cleansing Oil! It’s my fav cleansing oil of all time.

Lotree is one of Korea’s smaller brands, in size of products they carry not in regards to quality. It’s quite an elegant brand and has lovely makeup items as well as other bits and pieces.

One of the main reasons I adore it so much is the gorgeous purple packaging All the pieces come in lovely royal purple packaging and just shout elegance. One of my fav cleansing oils happens to be from Lotree which is LoTree Ruby Clear Cleansing Oil.

LoTree Ruby Clear Cleansing Oil is an incredible value at $18 or so in Korea (appears to be around $20 when I noticed it on Sasa, so very close to retail). The bottle is quite large, I’d say around 8 or 9 oz in size. It has a lovey herbal lavender scent with a tiny hint of mint, this actually could prove too much for sensitive types so be aware. The oil has a nice thick formula and rinses clean away leaving my face extra soft and hydrated. As with any cleansing oil it’s to be used on a dry face, full of makeup. Simply add a few pumps into your hand, massage on, add a little water to emulsify, massage a little more, and rinse! Presto! Foundation, eye makeup, and even waterproof mascara will wash clean away.

Absolutely gorgeous stuff.

Very much a Muse Approval for purchase.

If you’re a lover of cleansing oils, this is one to try!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ahh I love Jay Baruchel! I remember seeing him on this Canadian show wayyy back when, and he was so tiny and adorable! I also love Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but that’s not actually relevant is it… >.>

The weather looks gorgeous the rest of the week!! I’m so glad the rain is over; I was not pleased with my first flooding experience here in Jersey >:(

The packaging on that product is so gorgeous O_O

    wow I am interested now
how does it compare to Shu?
I am still waiting for kose cleansing oil…
now I don’t have oil to remove my makeup T.T so I am using Liz Earle cleanse and polish at the moment
by the way have you tried olive oil to remove makeup? I have tried it since everyone was saying how natural it is and good for skin but I find it hard to use the oil is too thick even though it “remove” makeup I cannot manage to rinse with water since it doesn’t “dissolve”

    • the Muse

hey su. About the same as shu in texture. 🙂 I wouldn’t use olive oil to be honest….lots of folk swear by it but I’m not into putting something to dress my salad up on my face lol

      • Su

haha ya I was skeptical at first but since everyone was raving about it I was pulled in..
I really want to know how they manage to use olive oil I just cannot get it work tried it twice and gave up…so the oil is for cooking and washing my brushes now =]
