The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Body Scrub Review

Oh man my legs need some serious help. Cold weather does its damage and causes major havoc for my knees and dry skin, not pretty dear friends. Now that Spring is hear I need to scrub away all that dry skin and hope it’ll keep away.

The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Body Scrub to the rescue!

Jump.

Mmm Mmm Mmm I love me some lemon almost as much as I love mint. The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Collection is turning my head at the moment as it’s such a fruity, sunny blend.

The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Body Scrub looks like a big old lemon slushie and smells as sweet. This isn’t your typical scrub as it doesn’t make skin slick and oily nor is the formula laden with oil. It’s quite a dry-ish scrub with a squishy slush-like texture and fine grains of sugar in the mix to polish skin and rid dry elbows and knees of flaky bits.

The scrub is pretty gentle compared to many scrubs I already own yet it still manages to soften up dry skin and leave behind a nice smooth surface. The bright sunny scent of lemons isn’t overpowering or artificial, it’s very fruity and every so slightly sweet combined with that tartness of a juicy lemon. Thankfully there isn’t a ton of oil in the mix so you aren’t left with super slick, greasy legs and arms after use nor are you slipping onto your backside in the shower (yes, it’s happened to me once).

Quite a nice little scrub to get arms, legs, elbows, and knees into shape for the warm weather ahead. Likey. It’s available now from The Body Shop and happens to be on sale, buy 1, get 1 50% Off. Nice to add to your stash if you’re a lover of lemon scented goodies.

Have you had a sniffle of The Body Shop Sweet Lemon Collection yet?

Granted it kind of dulls the razor a lot faster but shaving with the body scrubs from The Body Shop is amazing! Such a close, non-razor burn shave!!

I’m surprised you don’t find it oily because it felt a little greasy to me. I bought it anyway because I love the scent although it doesn’t last long after washing off.

not at all lyn. My philosophy ones are pure oil and grease! but this was smooth 😀
