Cake Beauty Sweet Cheeks Buttery Body Bubbles Review

Anyone hit up Sephora and check out Cake Beauty yet?

I was telling you the Canadian brand had launched at Sephora very recently and quite of few of you were like Cake? What? Who dat?

Cake Beauty lives up to it’s name with an array of decadent scented products that will remind you of cake. So now you can have your cake and eat it too….sans calories of course!

Happy Days!

Jump ahead for a little Cake Beauty Review.

I knew of the brand but this is my first try out with the products (I think? I might have tried something a few years ago but lord knows I can’t recall at the moment) and if the Cake Beauty Sweet Cheeks Butter Body Bubbles is anything to go by, it’ll easily become a favorite place to snag my bath and body goodies.

What is it?

Cake Beauty Sweet Cheeks Buttery Body Bubbles is a luscious cinnamon and vanilla scented body wash infused with moisturizing ingredients. To me it smells like a slice of Big Red gum as the cinnamon comes through as the dominant note. I don’t get a lot of vanilla from it but I do get a sugary sweet underlay with plenty of spicy cinnamon. The scent comes through as a spicy cake-like scent with plenty of sugar and cinnamon!

The good…

It lathers up like a dream plus the scent is simply gorgeous, I’m talking about wanting to tip it back and pour some in my mouth, it just smells so decadent and delicious. The formula is nice and moisturizing so you can shave with it if you like as it’s a nice slick feel but nothing oily or greasy just hydrating and nourishing.

The bad……

Nothing bad about this bad boy!

Who might like it?

  • Anyone who adores foody scents!
  • People obsessed with shower gels that smell great.
  • Anyone on a diet that wants a slice of delicious cake!

Who might not like it?

  • Anyone who doesn’t like foody scents.

Final Thoughts….

Cake Beauty covers a variety of fun products for both bath and body and even has a delicious little lip balm I’m dying to try. The prices are all very affordable in my opinion (the shower gel is a mere $14 bucks) and quite yummy. Anyone who likes to pamper themselves will love this line.

Quite Muse Approved for purchase.

Definitely check it out at your local Sephora.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I tried out the cake beauty line for the first time a couple weeks ago. I had heard on MUA b&b board that it was 50% off all products on the cakebeauty.com site. So, I placed an order.

Everything was great until I got the order, and sniffed everything out. There was only one…ONE scent that actually appealed to me. I’m not even kidding. And, I ordered several things too. So, I was really disappointed. The bubble bath produced hardly any bubbles, and I do mean HARDLY.

I don’t like this brand, and I normally love sweet, vanilla type cake scents.
