Facial Cleanser On the Cheap: Freeman Beauty Superfruits Facial Cleanser Review
Hey chicks!
Anyone out there looking for facial cleanser on the cheap? I use a variety of things to remove my makeup at the end of a long stressful day and in most cases I turn to good old Asian Cleansing Oil to get the deed done. But lord knows, the Muse loves to dabble in just about everything and is always looking for the next exciting thing in beauty.
My adventures in beauty budget recently led me to the new Freeman beauty SuperFruits Collection! A collection of skincare to help combat the effects of stress, the environment, and your not so healthy life style such as lack of sleep and that extra bag of cheese and onion crisps you’ve been sneaking in, oh wait that’s my life style.
Jump ahead to read my review on the new Freeman Beauty SuperFruits Facial Cleanser.
What is it?
A gentle gel cleanser to whisk away dirt, oil, and makeup that’s enriched with a mega 8 complex that combines eight different superfruits such as goji, acai, mango, cranberry, and blueberry!
The Good…
Yo, $3.99! Super deal right? This is a gel cleanser that has a fresh scent (damn, I’m kinda wishing it smelled fruity, that would make my day). It doesn’t sud or lather up so don’t expect foaming action from this. To use it simply apply to your damp face and rinse. It works great as a gentle everyday cleanser in the shower or when you have lighter makeup on. It feels really gentle on my face and doesn’t leave behind any tightness or dryness after use. I like using it in the shower in the morning or on days I’m wearing little to no makeup! I’ve mentioned it a time or two but I will say that I like the idea of antioxidants in my skincare as of late as it seems to be very agreeable when it comes to erasing dullness and fatigue from my exhausted skin!
The Bad…
I wouldn’t attempt trying to take hardcore makeup off with this, such as stubborn eyeshadow or waterproof mascara, I rarely use a cleanser to do that job anyway but just a note it won’t work so fab!
Who might like it?
- Anyone on the hunt for a super cheap cleanser!
- Chicks experiencing dull, tired skin that need a little pick up.
- Anyone who wants a gentle yet effective cleanser.
Who might not like it?
- Someone who wants an all in wonder makeup cleanser that removes hardcore eye makeup.
Final Thoughts….
My skin isn’t sensitive so I’m never really sure how sensitive types will react to certain skincare but I will say this felt extra gentle on my skin. Its quite a nice little cleanser that won’t break your beauty bank plus its nice to use in the AM in the shower. I wouldn’t personally use it to remove a face full of makeup but on lighter makeup days or morning use, it works wonderfully well!
Likey lots!
