Korres Fragrance: Korres Eau de Toilette

Bless be! The Korres gods have heard my prayers! Korres Eau de Toilette breaks onto the scene with three new fragrances for both men and women, can I hear a hell yeah?

Jump!

I’m so EXCITED about this release. I’ve wanted a fragrance from Korres for so long and I’m quite pleased that they have released three fragrances.

Here’s the deets dears!

Korres Fragrance for Men Eau de Toilette $45
Saffron/Amber/Agarwood/Cardamom

With top notes of Cardamom, Bergamot and Cinnamon, a heart of Saffron, Cedar wood, Carnation, Sandalwood and the strong, masculine base notes of Amber, Agarwood and Vanilla Korres fragrance for men offers a timeless male scent that is intense yet gentle and infused with woody and amber notes.

Saffron, was first cultivated in Greece. Kozani in northern Greece continues to produce the world’s best quality saffran. With over 150 volatile and aroma-yielding compounds, saffron’s original and seductive aroma has often been described by connoisseurs as reminiscent of metallic honey with grassy, hay-like notes.

Agarwood, or Agar, is the aromatic resin that is formed within the heartwood of the Aquilaria trees. The complex yet pleasing and distinct aroma of agarwood is unique.

Cardamom, one of the most expensive spices, carries a strong unique taste and intense aroma. A traditional open flame drying process lends a smoky flavor to the spice.

Korres Fragrance for Men or Women Eau de Toilette $45
Pepper/Jasmine/Gaiac Wood/Passion Fruit

With tops note of Sandalwood, Anise and Vanilla, a heart composed of Jasmine, Passion fruit and Gaiac wood and base note of Pepper, White Chocolate, Peach, and Green Hop this fragrance is spicy-oriental with ‘golden notes and a warm, precious scent suitable for both men and women.

Spicy, fresh notes and aromatic blends of citrus and wood transforms Pepper, also once known as ‘black gold,’ in a timeless spice.
One of the most sought-out ingredients in perfumery, its aromatic Jasmine absolute base, is known worldwide for its intense, warm, rich, exotic, sweet floral scent.

The Gaiac wood oil, obtained through steam distillation, has a mild, ‘precious-wood’ scent, as well as stimulating and rejuvenating properties. Gaiac tree – meaning Wood of Life – owes its name to its medicinal qualities.

Korres Fragrance for Women Eau de Toilette $45
Rose Wood/Blackcurrant/Cyclamen

With top notes of Rose, Pink Grapefruit, Blackcurrant, a heart of Rosewood, Rose, Mint leaves, Freesia, Cyclamen, Lily and the subtle base notes of Woods, White flowers this fragrance offers a deep floral yet bright and sparkling scent that is individually feminine, contemporary yet classic and sure to be addictive.

The combination of Rose and Rosewood brings out the sweet floral scent, through the contrast with the warm, deep bark aroma.
Blackcurrant leaves, flower buds and berries carry strong scents, lending the plant an individual fragrance – an innovative blend of notes that reveals fresh top notes and a sharp fruity background.

Cyclamen, whether bright pink, red, purple or white, brings together the contrasting yet complementary rich scents of fresh floral and musty greens.

So whatcha think?

I love the Rose Wood combination! Sounds heavenly. Actually if I’m honest the Jasmine/Passion Fruit one sounds incredible as well. They sound pretty unique and complex.

Yes, I see a haul in my near future.
