Philosophy Apricots and Cream Body Spritz Review

So I’m mildly obsessed with Philosophy Shower Gel. Really, its terribly innocent, I have maybe 60 bottles but that’s not a WHOLE lot right? Right. I do fear for my insanity though as lately they have been introducing body mists….uh-oh. What if I have to collect EVERY single body mist they introduce so that it matches up with my shower gel collection? Oh god. I can’t bear to think about it. How scary. Someone hold me.

Thankfully they only have a few so far one of which is the new Philosophy Apricots and Cream Body Spritz.

We be best friends.

Jump!

Love, love, love it! I got mine recently off of QVC but Nordies also has it available if you’re inclined to take a walk on over for a quick sniffle.

What is it?

Philosophy Apricots and Cream Perfumed Body Spritz is a body mist with the delicate scent of apricots and cream.

The Good….

It smells oh so nommy! The cream part of the fragrance gives off a slightly unusual note but once blended with the apricot you get pure, sweet, fruity bliss! The mist is fomulated with vitamins C and E plus moisturizing agents including aloe to keep skin moisture levels balanced. Although the scent starts off slightly unbalanced due to the cream element it has a quick and quiet dry down of sweet apricot. If you’re a lover of fruity scents, you’re bound to enjoy this! I misted down earlier this morning, I’d say about 2 and half hours and so far I’m going strong, I still smell the sweet scent of apricots!

The Bad….

So far nothing bad to say about it other than the fact that it comes across slightly weird at first mist but it dries down beautifully. Honestly, its lasting longer than most body mists I own so I’m not going to complain about linger or throw as of yet, so far, so good.

Who might like it?

  • Chicklets who dig on fruity blends for the warmer weather!
  • Anyone who likes a little sweet in their scents!
  • Someone who wants a light, fresh scent for the Spring and/or Summer!

Who might not like it?

  • Anyone who doesn’t like fruity or sweet blends!
  • Chicklets who prefer perfume over body mist.

Final Thoughts…..

Was a total win for me! Loves it! I’ll continue to purchase others if Philosophy comes out with more that’s for sure. The scent is unique enough to warrant a repurchase as I don’t have any other blends with apricot in the mix. I think its worth checking out particularly if you’re a Philosophy fan!

Fab little body mist.

I fell in love with this scent. I dont have the body spray but I do have the shower gel and lotion. It’s to die for. Too bad everyone in my house thinks the smell is too strong and complains about it.

    I need this though.

I just bought the lotion from Sephora and now I’m going to have to get the spray from Nordies. Initially, I thought I could pair with my Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Abricot, but the Philsophy apricot scent is fresher, while CSP is much more vanilla.

    • the Muse

CSP’s version is def more vanilla Johanna couldn’t agree more 😀 I like the fruitier turn that A&C took 😀

  • Kelly

I have an ultra sensitive preggy sniffer at the moment. I’m usually a floral girl, but I’ve been digging the fruitier scents lately. I’m tempted to give this one a try, my hubby may like the smell which would be a big plus. He’s more of a fruit scent guy over floral. It sounds lovely. Does it have a bit of a vanilla note to it? I’m a vanilla fan too 😉

Oh and as for the lilac and orchid comment…omg, I’m in trouble then 😉 I love both scents if it’s done right. You don’t see many lilac scents, but it seems to be getting trendy lately! Hurray.

    • the Muse

mmm kelly the cream gives off a tiny bit of vanilla so it smells like apricots dipped in melted marshmallow at fist 😀 lilac really is trending lately for sure 😀
