Soap and Glory Make Yourself Youthful Review

Sometimes my skin needs a little pick me up, like this morning its dull as dirt. Its difficult finding just the right blend of product to perk it up but occasionally I strike gold and I find some great product or another that gets on the case.

Soap & Glory Make Yourself Youthful seems to like my skin a lot this month!

Check it after the jump!

As is the case with most Soap & Glory skincare products, this promises the world and then some but does it work?

What is it?

Its a rejuvenating serum formulated with exclusive Make Your Youthful Anti-Aging Complex…see? Told you Soap and Glory likes to go the distance with these things.

The good…

The good news is it makes me skin quite happy. Its a fragrant serum that starts off as a light gel but quickly dissolves upon contact with skin leaving behind a nice base for moisturizer. Its heavily scented with sweet oranges so if youre sensitive to fragrance in your skin care you may want to skip. It seems the orange peel oil and citric acid in the mix is what my skin is digging on. I use this in the evenings after Ive washed my face fully and follow up with my regular moisturizer. Come morning my skin does look perked up particularly after a near month of use. Im not sure if its doing much in the ways of anti-aging as I dont sport fine lines or wrinkles on my face as of yet but for dullness it works a treat.

Packaging is fab on this as well as it comes in a pump jar when depressed distributes just enough product to do your whole face and you arent left with a large gob of serum thanks to some faulty pump.

The bad….

I kinda feel like its $19.99 price tag is a little high as youre getting 1.6 oz of product however I probably cant find too much to rant about in regards to this considering many higher end serums offer less product at triple the price.

Overall, if youre wanting to do something nice for your tired skin which is in need of a boost or needs to be re-energized, Soap and Glory Make Yourself Youthful Serum might do the trick.

Likey lots.

Worth a haul in my opinion!

Thanks for the review! I’ve been attracted to Soap & Glory products because of the cute retro/kitschy packaging but the price has put me off a bit as well.

angela it really depends. speaking as a big fan of soap and glory I’ve even occasionally raised an eyebrow or two on price 😛

I’ve used this product on and off for about a year. When my skin is sad or i don’t want a moisturizer. I like that makeup goes on nice over it too but I agree for what’s actually in it, I think the price is a bit steep. I got my last one on sale for about $14.99

hey melissa! I can get on board with $14.99 but I felt $20 was a little too much! It’s great sans moisturizer 😀 Even though it’s a serum it’s still quite hydrating
