Lorac Hollywood Hot List Collection is a $130 bucks worth of full size Lorac Cosmetics in Summer-y shades for a mere $29.50. Hello Score!

I. Love. This. Kit.

I’m so in lust with this kit at the moment. It comes in a rather large box which when you open up has black tissue paper wrapped goodies. It’s like Christmas when you start unwrapping!

The set includes all of the follow delicious goodies:

  • Lorac Blush / Bronzer Duo in Hot & Spicy
  • Lorac Couture Shine Liquid Lipstick in Trend Setter
  • Lorac TANtalizer Body Bronzing Luminizer
  • Lorac Eye Shadow in Enlighten, VIP, Guest List

Hands down the stars of this set are the three warm shadows. The shades have a really lovely formula that’s velvety smooth and highly pigmented. The blend like an absolute dream and contrast beautifully with each other without appearing muddy. I was shocked to read a Sephora review that someone felt they had way too much shimmer. I’m no expert but these felt like more of a smooth velvet finish with MAYBE a tiny touch of shimmer.

VIP is my fav of the bunch, it’s a warm melon. Next up is Guest List, a rich chocolate. And finally Enlighten, a creamy white with a golden finish. I used Enlighten to highlight my highbrow with and proceeded to use VIP on my lid and Guest List in the crease blended up. You can use VIP on the inner lid and blend out Guest List on the outer lid but I haven’t attempted it yet as my skills aren’t so fab to do so, so I stuck with the basics of crease and lid.

Another key piece in the collection is the Lorac Blush/Bronze Duo in Hot and Spice. This is really a nice item featuring two very warm shades. Spicy is a warm coral similar to NARS Orgasm but much richer. It comes across as a peachy pink melon to me. Hot is the bronzer of the duo and is a sizzling warm bronze brown. You can use them separately or together. I tend to brush my blusher brush over both at the same time and dab onto my cheeks, the effect is a warm bronzed look with touches of peach, pink, and melon!

You’ll also get Lorac TANtalizer Body Bronzing Luminizer which is a quick drying creamy bronzer and Lorac Couture Shine Shine in Trend Setter. Trend Setter is a warm nude pink and applies almost metallic-like. The gloss is very thick and includes a brush applicator so you can really layer it on and wears very long due to this formula.

I have to say that I found Lorac TANtalizer Body Bronzing Luminizer completely useless as I’m not a fond fan of tanning. I handed this off to my sister so prior to purchasing maybe think if you’ll make use of it and if not perhaps a friend or family member will.

Not sure if it was the color or the gloss but Lorac Couture Shine proves a tad difficult to apply. I got a patchy look from it and had to keep layering more and more on so it would not look gross on my lips. I also felt like Trend Setter just wasn’t my shade as I don’t pull off nudes so well but I will say that it fits very well with the overall look that the set is going for.

I absolutely adore the blusher/bronzer duo but it proves difficult to work with since the pan is so small. If you want to use both products together you’ll be ok but if you want to contour with the bronzer and maybe use the blush on your cheeks, it’s a pain to get your brush in just the right location to swatch either product.

  • Anyone seeking a SMOKING, hot look for Summer.
  • Anyone who wants ALOT for less (you get quite a nice bit of product to work with for under $30 bucks).
  • Bronzer goddess types (anyone who likes warm, bronz-y looks will love this).

  • Anyone who doesn’t think they’ll make use of the body bronzer (it kinda brings the value up a little per product if you fail to use this like I did).
  • Anyone who doesn’t like warmer sunset style shades of color!
  • Those who aren’t keen on warmer shades for cheeks and eyes.

Overall, this is turning into one of my favorite sets of the season. The price is shockingly low for what you get and the shades all work so incredibly well together and are very flattering on my medium fair skin. The shadows and bronzer duo are worth the price of admission alone however next time around I hope they might skip the body bronzer and include maybe a mascara.

Very well worth your time if you like warm shades!

This is stunning and Muse Approved for haulin’!

Loves it!

Total Summer Must Have!

I bought this about a month ago as my first Lorac purchase and I have to say that I love it!! The shadows are SO silky! I love the smell of the bronzer and lippie!!

Hi Muse. I love the look at the kit, but I noticed something that really bothers me. I realize that things are usually a bit more expensive in Canada versus the US. MAC makeup for instance is usually a few dollars more, but going up ten dollars is just ridiculous. As of right now, 29.50 in USD would be the same as 30.74 CD. But instead, we get charged nearly ten dollars more. That really bothers me, and unless these makeup companies start adjusting their prices, I might start putting my purchases on hold. :[

I have tried both sephora and ulta looking for this kit and no luck! They are always sold out! Hoping I’ll be lucky one day! The colors look great!!

I heart Enlighten..it’s one of my fav highlight shadows. I like TANtalizer in the summer..but I use it sparingly. It has a nice summer smell and give you a hint of shimmer/tan…but I like to mix it with a body lotion to dilute a bit. The other colors in this kit look great.
