Philosophy The Sweet Shoppe Review

Lord knows Philosophy The Sweet Shoppe is far from new but I’m just now getting my sweaty little hands on it.

Released in July of last year, this sweet little set catered to those of us with a bit of a sweet tooth with scents like bubble gum and red fishy to give our candy cravings a little run for our money.

I long since forgotten about it but recently decided I needed to have it after I seen it online.

Jump!

A trio of Philosophy Shower Gels that can be used in your shower, bath, or on your hair in a variety of sweet candy-like scents!

I’m kinda crushing hard on this kit at the moment as it’s really adorable packaging and scent wise. It comes in a cute little shop shaped box with a little sweet shop window displaying all sorts of yummie little goodies!

Inside you’ll find three candy-like scented shower gels which are 6 oz each and can be used in your shower, bath, or hair.

You’ll get Philosophy Bubble Gum Blow Out (classic true to life bubble gum scent), Philosophy Squishy Red Fish (Yes, it smells just like those sweet Swedish Fishies(, and Philosophy Mouthwatering Watermelon (spot on sweet candy-like watermelon scent).

Watermelon is the best of the bunch and probably one of my favorite shower gel scents of the moment as it catches the essence of a lollipop or gum flavored watermelon. Very sweet, Jolly Rancher-style watermelon smelling!

Bubblegum I’m not particularly partial on since it’s a tad uneventful but still love it regardless. And Squishy Red Fish is just too cute for the novelty value alone.

I personally adored everything about the kit but I’m guessing those sensitive to fragrance may find these run on the very sweet side…not really a bad thing for me but anyone not up for very sweet scents may wish to avoid.

  • Anyone wanting a shower gel that multitasks as a bubble bath and shampoo!
  • Anyone who ADORES sweet, candy inspired bath products!
  • Anyone who adores Philosophy Shower Gels!

  • Anyone wanting to smell like a sweet shop outside the shower (these are an in shower experience only).
  • Anyone who is sensitive to strong, sweet smells.
  • Anyone who doesn’t like candy or sweets of any kind.

All in all a rather sweet little trio of shower gels from Philosophy which I am ever so happy to have added to my collection. Quite cute and probably one of the nicest kits to date from Philosophy. They really do excel at creating really cute blends lately.

Available from QVC for $27.

Loves it!

le sigh hate shipping from qvc, it’s a real rip D. particularly when you order several philosohy items which are shipped in the same box anyway and they still charge you a crazy amount!

Great review, but what would make it better is swatches of the gels.

    Thank you!

    LMAO!

Oh it’s adorable! I got my auntie a Christmas set and it was in a “gingerbread house” shaped box -and I wrapped it just like that so everyone kept wondering (prior to opening gifts) why I was giving her a minerature house!

Love Philosophy gift sets -surprised this isn’t on sale yet since it was released so long ago.

That packaging is so cute and i love the sound of the Red fishy but personally i hate the smell and taste of watermelon sweets.

The packaging is adorable but I’m afraid the scent sound too sweet for my tastes. 🙁

I love tha packaging! Not sure about the scents–I would have to try out the bubblegum and red fishy first.

Some of their scents are too sweet for me too but then there are many that I LOVE! I think the Everything’s Coming Up Rainbows one they have out for the summer is awesome!
