Outspoken by Fergie Eau de Parfum Spray Review

I will try to not run around and tell you I smell Fergalicious but I won’t make ANY promises k? Outspoken by Fergie Eau de Parfum Spray released from Avon earlier this month and I’ve been testing it out.

So I think I finally have my Musings all down on this guy.

Check it!

Fergie has such an aggressive, outgoing personality so I expected Outspoken to mimic some of that but turns out that it veers towards being a more sexy, floral blend that has a flirty good nature with a fruity edge.

Distinguished, snobby noses may not find they like this but those who have enjoyed Avon fragrances in the pass will definately lean towards loving it.

The blend is supposed to a contrast of berry, tuberose, and black leather. Honestly, I get absolutely none of the berry and none of the leather. I’m relieved about the leather to be honest as I do think they would lend a more masculine note to it. However, tuberose comes through with a very dominate, overpowering note. The scent is rich in floral but has a bit of fruity goodness that isn’t quite detectable until drown down. Mostly it leans towards being a bit rose-like to my nose…..

It’s interesting but not interesting enough to capture my complete attention and not nearly unique enough to warrant a repurchase however those who are seeking an inexpensive scent with good throw and linger that has a dash of sweet fruitiness versus a good kick of floral may like this one.

I like it but it didn’t capture my entire heart.

Have you tried it?

Thoughts?

Available now from Avon.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
