The colors in this collection don’t particularly scream Holiday to me but they do have a Winter vibe which will work well through the colder weather. I love the addition of the trio but would have loved warm shimmering gold for the Holidays but as I said the colors work very well for Winter.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. The trio eyeshadow, the gold shadow and the little darling lipstick shall be mine!!!! now…. just need to find the funds to make a 112.00$ purchase for three items … and the excuse also lol

    • the Muse

lol addicted ;-D check retailmenot too sometimes they have 10% promo codes for nars ;D

  • Sarah

Oh my god. Sex appeal blush. Soso pretty. Out of my budget though 🙁 Maybe too soon to ask but any possible dupes?

  • Tala

I read on Spektra that Sex Appeal’s really only for really fair-skinned girls. 🙁 I want it, but I don’t think it’ll show up on my NC30 skin.

  • mandy

the purple nailpolish looks like my kind of color! (i need to stop purchasing only purple polishes..lol :X)
the blush looks nice too! are these are all LE?

  • jonnie

Wow, these are really all quite beautiful! I might want that first lipstick… I think I can dupe most of those shadows (love the purple duo!). The blush reminds me of Benefit Georgia, which I also have… I might have to check out the glosses too. I’ve been too lazy to drive all the way to Sephora, but I have a return so maybe this weekend…

  • Kay

Sex Appeal sounds like my kind of blush, and I’ve wanted one from Nars for a while 🙂 Etrusque looks lurvely too.

  • Melissa

oh wow I need the eye shadow trio – those colors are unique enough for me that I shall make it mine. Perhaps it will show up on Sephora for fnf

  • Josie

Loving the purple eyeshadow duo (for the lilac shade) and the two lipsticks.
Will you be getting anything Muse? I can’t wait to see swatches!

  • Nia

Bougainville and Melusine look like interesting colours, though I’d prefer to see some more swatches.
I’d like to try a blush sooner or later, so maybe Oasis? Do you like their blushes?

  • carolyn

I love the Orchid nail color…but these seem like spring items – not holiday!

  • jones

i might have to get the okinawa eyeshadow just to represent my homeland LOL but the bougainville lip gloss looks nice

    • the Muse

oh my gosh jones, quite exciting to hear you’re from okinawa ;D where do you live now?!

  • Lisa

I’m thinking I might pick up just the blush. The light peach would be great into spring. I know Benefits Georgia Peach blush barely showed up on me and I’m pale as hell. So with Nars color pay off, it’s a definite grab!
Totally agree with you on the lack of holiday feel though. 🙁

    • the Muse

I hear that the NARS one is very sheer Lisa so def swatch prior to purchasing ;-D

for sure. Bit Winter but not Holiday 🙁

  • Erin

I must have Downtown Lip Gloss and Pokerface Nail Polish. This collection isn’t super holiday but I love it all the same!

  • Katy

I bought the little darling lipstick. I’ve never even worn lipstick in public before. I absolutely love it. I went from chapstick everyday to wearing this everyday. I don’t know what to say except that it’s perfect. I have light skin but not necessarily pale and it looks great. It is creamy (doesn’t dry your lips at all) I wouldn’t call it sheer but it’s not overpowering either. I am very excited about it.

  • Katy

..actually I guess I would call it sheer. ..Also at work a few nights ago a lady I work with liked it and called it neutral. and my mom loves the way it looks too.

I purchased it in store (Sephora) and it was the last one they had. Either they didn’t have many to begin with or it’s quite popular….
