Shiseido Maquillage Powder Celebration 5th Anniversary Set

Shiseido Maquillage Powder Celebration 5th Anniversary Set launches in Japan at the end of November and I can barely breath awaiting its arrival.

Shiseido’s Maquillage line has never been one of my favorite Japanese Brands and I do find I pass it up to venture towards other product lines. Not sure why that is but it just fails to excite me.

But I have no such reserves about celebrating their 5th Anniversary in style with the Powder Celebration Set, simply put, it’s stunning!

Check it!

The Powder Celebration set is priced at a whooping 12,600 yen. This is possibly the most I’ve ever spent on Japanese makeup but it’s so worth it as the powder come housed in a crystal glass jar with a brush, spatula, and seven shades of powder to correct, conceal, and create flawless skin while addressing specific problem areas. The set also includes a pressed powder.

Part of the appeal of the product is obviously the packaging. It’s a rather stunning piece to decorate your vanity.

You can see why I’m so excited.

I look forward to reviewing it for you as soon as it releases.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I got it for 160$ – d’you think that was a good deal? I’ve been wanting that since July!!!!!

    • the Muse

that’s about retail anna so not too bad. I pre-booked it with a friend but she hasn’t given me a total yet. I’m hoping it’ll be 30% off retail at the drugstore. so even at $160 that’s still almost retail, good deal.

      • Anna Crystal

Yup I also pre-ordered it and it should be 180$ instead, this way I saved 20$. And it’s much less to me since I pay in €. I wanna know who of us receives it first haha

        • the Muse

wait you paid $180 or $160? Confused!? ;-D conversion rate from yen to USD kinda sucks now but not too bad.

  • Anna Crystal

    Since I pre-ordered I paid 160$ instead of 180$, that’s what I mean and in € it’s 116€, which is NOTHING 😀

    • the Muse

Ooooooooo gotcha Anna ;-D so close to retail really. About 10 dollars more than retail not bad at all ;-D I’m worried about shipping costs! It’s a heavy piece! was that included with your price?

        • the Muse

I doubt it, tell your seller or friend or whoever you got it from to mark down less on the custom form ;-D

  • Miss D

Oh, I’ve been drooling about this for weeks now…but I know it’s probably too expensive! 🙁

    • Miss D

Wait, I just noticed you mentioned the price in the post.
      Now I know my answer.
Too expensive to purchase? Check. 🙁

  • Bethany

    Hey, Muse.

Just letting you know I sent you a message yesterday. I imagine you’re really busy, but I’m just letting you know here, because I think I read that it’s easier for you to miss them by accident~

    • the Muse

hi bethany….I def MISS emails sometimes ;-D my inbox is kinda flooded. What’s up hun!? Anything you can ask me here?

      • Bethany

The other day I submitted a random reader review (idk if there any specific times you accept them, or what), but I got no confirmation it went through, so I figured I’d ask you instead of spamming you with them. Rofl. It might have been because I included HTML in the formatting.

        • the Muse

ahhh! I’ll check through them bethany. there are a few that need to be reviewed so I’m positive yours is in there ;-D sorry I get busy with comments, posts, etc…and sometimes reader reviews get pushed to the end of the list! 😀 gimme time, promise to get it posted shortly.

          • Bethany

Oh, that’s cool then. No rush! I was just worried that it didn’t go through, because the page kind of just looked like it refreshed when I pressed submit. o _o If you find it’s not around, just let me know and I’ll resubmit it for review.

            Thanks~

          • the Muse

hi bethany I was looking what was the review for!? I don’t think I seen yours but maybe I’m nuts ;D

  • Bethany

uh, I did post back there. Did you see it but delete it because of the direct link to the file? o _o I just thought it’d be easier than me trying to make it go through the proper submitting place again.

Either way, it was the Hawaiian Splendour Palette.

… While I’m here, I know you like Kdrama. What do you think of the v. beautiful Jang Geun Suk? <3 After watching You're Beautiful, I've been obsessed. Just started watching his new one, Mary Stayed Out All Night. ;D

    • the Muse

Only delete if comments are rude or nasty. I promise to get to the review as soon as possible. I have a few pending but def didn’t see yours but it must be here somewhere don’t worry ;-D <3 Jang Geun Suk but dying to see Mary Stayed Out All Night b/c of Kim Jae Wook SWOON!!!!!!!
